- Update 6.3: Hazard elements, clearer tutorial, adjusted EXP curve - 10 October 2020
Hey all! This time on Skyseeker, we're bringing to you a few small gameplay changes. New hazards are now discoverable throughout the map, such as spike plants and bomb fruits. These hazards will damage both you and your enemies, so use them to your advantage! Tutorial is now more clear on how to capture Fauna, and how to attack directionally. Capture ball now shows a timer for how long you have left. There is now a shortcut from the Valley of Lilles to the Grand Crossroads Capturing a Fauna no longer reduces its level by 2. - Skyseeker 6.2: Quick hotfixes - 3 October 2020
Just a few small fixes, courtesy of Scheuchevogel's reports. Capture balls should no longer bug out when a Fauna dies before ball reaches it. "F to open menu" added to bottom right legend. You can no longer leave the map through the Explorer Capital tower. Updated Title Screen graphics

Hey there! Skyseeker is a monster-collecting metroidvania where every enemy is catchable. Every monster you catch has unique skills and movement options, and you'll have to create your own squad for winning battles and getting around the world. Howdy. Skyseeker is entering Open Beta. That means you get to play the game, for free! This build features about half of the planned game content. There are four open areas to explore, and every monster you see is catchable. Trainer battles are challenging duels needing both reflexes and team-building. There's an upgrade-based progression system for each monster, evolutions, and two Bell Guardian boss fights. Hello hello! This week on Skyseeker, we are preparing hard for the release of the first Beta. We've knocked out a whole bunch of bugs in the game, and we're super close to getting this build out for you. A new place this time is the Collosseum! Located in the Explorer Capital, this arena is a place for seasoned trainers to duel each other. The winner receives a coveted prize -- a Skyseeker title. Evolutions should be exciting. They're a big moment! We've made evolutions feel more impactful. A new Blessing system is now in place. Monsters recieve Blessings every 3 levels, which are unique permanent upgrades that stay with the character forever. Select the traits you enjoy to build a team of your own! - Skyseeker 2: Worldbuilding and Monster Week - 27 July 2020
Hi there! We're hard at work on pushing out the MVP 4B for Skyseeker. We'll be releasing this build for free to playtesters, and we want the build to be polished and clean. The build will include the first four areas of the game, a whole bunch of monsters, and three bells to ring. That said, one aspect of this week was focused on worldbuilding. We want to create a World Worth Exploring, and that means taking these fantasties from our heads into reality. Starstruck Caves, where the Gillshrooms spawn. These flying jellyfish inhabit the moist air of the caverns. A small Skyseeker Hideout, with a giant Bombshroom acting as an elevator. Monsters in Skyseeker are not just for fighting! Hello there! Welcome to the world of the Skyseekers, where majestic creatures lost to time roam the boiling rivers, freezing glaciers, and enormous oceans of fog in the Grand Tree Hyperion. We'd like to invite you to test out an early Beta build of the game! This prototype focuses on the main mechanics, and only contains a single area. There are about 20 monsters to collect, a rival to fight, and a boss fight at the Bell to signal the adventure's beginning.
