• Patch 1.05 - 22 March 2022

  Today we’ve released patch 1.05 for BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut. This patch fixes an issue which caused a prerendered cutscene (in which Xerx shows Kagan the Sun Gun) not to play when progressing through the game.

• Patch 1.04 - 3 September 2021

  Today we’ve released patch 1.04 for BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut. In this update: Button prompts have been updated to use XInput-style controller button icons in place of the original generic PC text prompts. An FMV cinematic in which Ephemera confronts Rayne now plays in the game in its originally intended place. An issue where Rayne’s mouth would move while Severin is speaking a specific line of dialog during an in-game cutscene in Club Strages has been fixed.

  BloodRayne fans rejoice! Ziggurat is thrilled to announce that we have a new update to both Terminal Cut editions of BloodRayne. By popular demand, both games now use XInput style button prompts in game while playing with a gamepad, replacing the original generic text button prompts. • Patch 1.03 - 15 May 2021

  Today we’ve released patch 1.03 for BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut. In this update: Music and ambient tracks missing from the original release of BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut are now included in the game. The Twisted Park fight with Ephemera has been rebalanced to more closely match the difficulty of the original console release of BloodRayne 2 (rocks are now easier to destroy). Images in the unlockable Slideshows of the Extras menu now display at a higher resolution and with improved scaling. An issue where English lines of dialog would occasionally play when playing the game in Russian has been fixed (note: you must set the language of the game to Russian in the Steam client for cutscenes to play in Russian). Miscellaneous bug fixes have been made. Steam Trading Cards have also been added to the game.

• BloodRayne 1 and 2 remasters heading to PC later this month - 3 November 2020

  If you've been excitedly anticipating the previously revealed remasters of developer Terminal Reality's so-so (but still, seemingly, fondly remembered) BloodRayne series, you're in luck; enhanced editions of BloodRayne 1 and 2 will be making their way to PC on 20th November. The original BloodRayne launched back in 2002, introducing the world to half-vampire (and clothing deficient) femme fatale Rayne, as she embarked on a campy, globe-trotting adventure - very much in the third-person shooter mould - to obliterate supernatural forces. And also nazis. A similarly styled sequel followed in 2004, and the series was revived in 2011, albeit this time as a side-scrolling action platformer, known as BloodRayne Betrayal.
