• Demo v2.1 Update - 20 March 2022

  I've been trying not to worry too much about keeping the demo in good shape as since we've started started production of content and focusing on the final game. But since there's been a large number of people playing and even "Let's Playing" the demo, I've decided it was time to make some Quality of Life updates to it. Most notably, these are some of the changes... Ability to skip cutscenes through the Esc Menu Updated Quest Log interfaces in Journal Better Game Feel when aiming and more feedback on hit Improved spell casting controls Simplified tutorial segment slightly Fixed save game errors Fixed "PC Destroyed" error that occurred when you fell into a pit after dying Optimization to intensive maps like Noxrose South General Optimizations to performance This is so players trying the demo from now until release will have a better experience, hope you enjoy it!

• Demo Update v0.9.1.0 - 20 June 2021

  Over the last few days, we've gotten some bug reports and performance reports that have helped us make some important decisions and fix some bugs. Here are the changes: Fixed bug causing players to get stuck in staircase in Azufelt Train Station. Fixed bug causing players to get stuck when moving between Azufelt Train Station and Courtyard. Reduced usage of shaders, this should increase performance especially in dream sequence that caused performance issues on PCs without dedicated graphics. Disabled Character Silhouette Options for the time beings If you had poor performance before, we urge you to try again.

• Official Re-Reveal - 5 June 2021

  What happened since the game was revealed? Around October of last year, StoryArcana was revealed for the first time ever! I received a ton of feedback and first impressions - based on that, I decided to spend some time making changes to the designs of large portions of the game's visual design. What's changed? The core story that I've always wanted to tell hasn't changed, and the gameplay is for the most part still the same as when we first announced it. But we've made some changes to set the world of Nox further apart from another other iconic wizard world. With everything out there on StoryArcana before now practically unrecognizable apart from it's logo, I thought it'd be good to showcase and make it clear what the game is going to look and play like and where it's headed from here on out. • StoryArcana is now on Steam! - 3 September 2020

  It's been a long time coming, but after 2 years of development, StoryArcana is finally on Steam! StoryArcana is an wizard school RPG where you play as Clay Quilt, a young boy transported to a world pouring with magic as part of a one-year exchange programme in Azufelt, Academy of the Arcane. I'll be updating the steam page with a teaser video showing off the current build of the game soon, but do note we are still heavily in development and much is bound to change.
