Latest Steam announcements

• End of product Life - 4 February 2026

As many of you might have already guessed, because of the absence of any updates. The game Sanctuary Island will be discontinued and removed from the Steam Store on the 30th of June 2026.Back when I started the development, I had an abundance of time available. But at some point I needed to make the hard decision to close the doors for the active development of the game that was once a passion project, which took the majority of my free time back in the day. Today I don't have that much free time to spend to develop this game any further. I don't want to make promises I cannot fulfill. After the mentioned date, you will be no longer able to purchase the game. You will be still able to play the game in single-player and multiplayer if you host a server using the dedicated server software.Yours sincerely
