  Hey all!It's been a while, huh? Had a thought to make an update featuring what I had been working on between job changes, it's not much, but changes include:Smaller memory footprint overall, just slightly.Borderless window options.Larger window sizes. The game still renders at 1080p, but at least the game window won't be microscopic on 4k monitors. The reason I can't make it go to a higher game resolution is because the hand drawn animations were designed around 1080p. That'll teach me to not think about technology advancing.Fixed a softlock when skipping certain NPC dialogue scenes.Thanks again for playing and hopefully enjoying Cricket!

All that aside, I'm here to announce that Cricket: Jae's Really Peculiar Game V1.2.72 has landed! Overall with this patch we wanted to clear out some minor issues while we work out the details of the next big patch, this means bug fixes and feedback incorporation! • Version 1.2: The "Big Heccin'" Update is Here! - 11 March 2025

  Hey all! How have you been doing? It's been a while! Have you gotten around to doing your taxes? I've been trying to handle them but I have this thing I gotta do, and this other thing, you know? All that aside, I'm here to announce that Cricket: Jae's Really Peculiar Game V1.2: The "Big Heccin'" Update, is finally here! Overall with this patch we aimed to bring Cricket closer in line with our initial vision of the game, things we wanted to fix and address for a while but straight up didn't have time to do. This means re-balancing the game, focusing up on some of the game's systems, bringing in some more story elements, and giving players a reason to explore the game world a bit more. In particular, we wanted players to be able to tune their adventure with Jae and friends to their liking, as we heard a variety of opinions on the difficulty of the initial version of the game. It can be activated manually from the Phone menu, and when you quit the game! When you return to play the game, you will be prompted to load your Quick Save like so: Be careful though, Quick Saves are deleted regardless of the choice you make at this menu! Why is it like this?
