    Hello Hot Pot for One players,I hope your 2026 is off to a wonderful start :) It’s been a while since the last update. To be honest, for a long time I didn’t think that there would be another one of those…Not because the game was perfect, or that I didn't care about it anymore. If anything, it was the opposite, maybe I cared too much. There were so many things that I wanted to add, so many ways the game could be better. But as one solo dev working on this as a passion project, I had so little time and energy. After the February 2022 update, I had to step away from it for a while, so that I could recover and live life. Every once in a while I would think about coming back and adding new features, but I just wasn’t ready. Until a random summer day in 2025. I woke up that morning and thought: maybe I’m ready to make Hot Pot for One again. I decided to work on it slowly on the weekends, so…

  • Lunar New Year Update - 1 February 2022

    Hey everyone, Happy Year of the Tiger! I am so happy to bring you this major update on the look and feel of Hot Pot for One. For this time around, we worked with amazing artist and illustrator Ida Huang to introduce a series of new food and item memory illustrations. We are really satisfied with how much personality and meaning those drawings have added to the game, so we hope you enjoy them as well. Feel free to leave a comment and let us know how you think!     Hi everyone, First of all, I would like to thank you so much for supporting Hot Pot For One. Started off as a student project developed by a two-person team, this game has gone far beyond our expectations, and we are blown away by all the positive responses and reviews from our players. I am so appreciative of everyone who played and enjoyed the game, especially those of you who provided their honest feedback and suggestions.
