Hey Folks, Webbed v1.04 is now live with a few quality of life changes: Fixed a crash that occured when returning to the main menu when a journal popup was active. Fixed a bug where the player could rapid-fire webs. If your save file becomes corrupt, the game now automatically attempts to load the backup save instead. Made key opals glow offscreen to help you keep track of where they are. Improved terrain in a couple of places where the player could get stuck against moving objects. Hey Folks, Webbed v1.03 is now live! Here is the full list of changes. Fixes: Fixed a crash that occurred when a save thumbnail was corrupted. Fixed a crash when returning to the main menu in some cases. Fixed an error which stopped the "You Monster" achievement being earned if the last fly was caught in the hub area. Prevented a potential soft-lock caused by proximity sensors in the engineering section. Prevented a potential soft-lock caused by shooting opals out of bounds in some bower levels. The player spider should now automatically respawn if they manage to get stuck inside solid terrain. Fixed skateboard getting stuck under half pipes. Steam screenshots now capture the UI when the game is paused. Gamepads are no longer detected based on axis inputs. Hey folks! Here is the update list for Webbed hotfix v1.02: Fixed a crash when talking to Mark after entering the Ant hill through the beetle entrance and finishing the Mech-Ant. Fixed a crash when going back to retrieve a half finished Mech-Ant leg. Fixed web preview setting not saving. Added an emergency exit sign to assist people finding their way out of the ant nest. Prevented some potential soft-locks: If you close the door behind yourself after entering the skate park from the bee zone. I've had one eye on Webbed for a while, because if you take your eyes off a spider, that's when it scurries away. - Be The Spider in Webbed's Demo! - 7 October 2020
The Steam Game Festival demo is a short day in the life of our brave little spider, and takes place before the events of Webbed. You'll get to swing around a big tree, catch some flies in your webs, and help out a couple of your insect friends. It's a small snapshot of the full game that should let you get a feel for the swinging and web building mechanics. We're always keen to hear any feedback, and we hope you enjoy the preview!

Look, I don’t like spiders any more than the next bear but even I’ll admit this one is cute. This intrepid lady is on her way through the forest to save her boyfriend (also a spider?) from a very large bird. In Webbed , she can swing and weave her way through the forest’s many dangers with the incredible tensile strength of spider webs. It’s horrifyingly adorable. (more…)
