When I was working on Ocean's Heart, I didn’t want to create just another adventure game where you breeze through vague fields or caves fighting slimes. When I want to relax, I take a walk through a forest or cycle through the countryside. Everywhere you can go is a different place - if you stop to poke around there is a unique character or surprise or vibe to a place. I wanted to make a game where you could get lost in places. Where you might discover a new weapon or monster, but you can also discover the foundations of a long-gone house, a worn trail leading to a hidden ravine, or a kind of plant that only grows here. Hey Adventurers, Since day one the game was released, we received hundreds of messages asking for Japanese localization. Today that day has finally arrived, as we are releasing version 1.0.2, which along with various bug fixes to the game adds the Japanese language! Below you can find a list of what will be changed after installing the newest Update! Ocean's Heart 1.0.2 features: -Japanese localization Ocean's Heart 1.0.2 bug fixes: - Fixed a bug where if you saved in the wrong place, you could load the game stuck in a wall or into a black screen. Now we check where we're loading and if we're in a wall, move Tilia somewhere else. - Added the ability for the engine to read file paths containing non-Latin characters like Russian or Chinese. - Fixed a math error in calculating the total number of achievements. Now onto the fun part. We have great news for all the players in Japan who were waiting for Ocean's Heart translation to Japanese. ( the players even have a Steam thread where they gathered votes to show the support! ) We hear you and we are happy to announce that the game will be fully translated into Japanese! We don't have a release date for it just yet, though we'll have more information to share about it in the near future.
