• C.H.A.S.E.R. is Now Human-Like (And fully released!) - 22 December 2020

  After a couple months of continued development, we're excited to announce the official rebranding from C.H.A.S.E.R. to Human-Like. Here are some of the things we've added: The taser is now replaced with an EMP blast that can hit the bot from both ways. More sound effects! New scoring system Global leaderboards visible from the Steam community hub Leaderboards that show friends in game! Various bugfixes We've also decided to move out of early access! • CHASER Gamepad Support Update - 3 October 2020

  Today we're excited to be releasing our first of bi-weekly updates to the public! As of this update, controllers are now supported! If you have run CHASER before this update, you will need to reset the controls to take advantage of controller support (or bind the game pad's buttons manually). Default bindings can be reset by pressing the "Reset Controls" button in the settings menu. Some other changes we've made include: Easier to read fonts have been included for certain aspects of the user interface. A Discord invite link has also been added to the settings menu. A button for reporting bugs has also been added directly to the pause menu. The arcade mode restarts immediately after death. The current base game has been rebranded as an arcade mode. Now with the "run" being renamed to "arcade". We hope to bring more of a survival horror campaign mode as the main game later on. We'd love t…

  Patch Notes Here are a couple items to address feedback from the community: The HUD now displays "Remaining Cores" to highlight how far you are in the current run Item boxes will no longer give you duplicate items, i.e. you can't have two of the same item simultaneously Enhancements: New sprites for speedboost and taser items. Coming Soon Additional map segments that are much more difficult than what currently exists Introduction of Steam achievements More environmental and character sound effects. Experiments We're also experimenting with additional features to create more replayability: A scoring/stats system so that you can track how your skill at the game is increasing. • C.H.A.S.E.R. Steam Early Access Launch! - 17 September 2020

  The wait is finally over: C.H.A.S.E.R. is now available on Steam Early Access! ːsteamhappyː This is our early access version of the game. The core gameplay loop is largely complete, but we want to expand and add more content as we go. We plan to make announcements through the Steam Community and our Discord channel. We want to hear from the community on how to improve C.H.A.S.E.R. for our planned full release six months from now.
