• The Current Status of the Game and the Future - 20 June 2026

  Hi everyone, I wanted to share a small update on the current status of the game. Juicy Army sold 26 copies so far. We made it to double digits baby!! yay!! After release and the initial patches, the game reached a fairly stable state with no major known issues, so I stepped away from it for a while. Recently, I've been working with another game project and I also looked at this game again with fresh eyes. The first thing I noticed is that there's room to improve the game feel. I've been working on game feel for my current project and I think I can apply some of those principles here too. I'm hoping to push a small update soon focused on making the game feel better. Another thing I'd like to explore is the possibility of adding an arcade mode, closer to a pure arcade twin-stick shooter experience. It's the sweetest action roguelike set in a dream universe where you'll have to fight an army of juicy creatures!
