Skydive Sim now includes several new beta features designed to bring more real-world data and awareness into each jump. Real-world location wind and gust data can now be pulled from the selected Google Earth location to drive in-game wind conditions. Canopy customization has also been upgraded with real-world-style inputs, including canopy type, body weight, gear weight, canopy size, exit weight, and wing loading. The minimap now displays AI skydivers and remote multiplayer players with live altitude readouts, giving you better awareness of who is around you in the sky. Other notable beta additions include layered wind by altitude, multiplayer wind sync from the session host, improved canopy wind drift based on wing loading, and yellow minimap markers for AI skydivers.

- Skydiving Logbook and Explore Mode Added - 14 June 2026
This update adds two new features to Skydive Sim: Skydiving Logbook Track your jumps with the new Skydiving Logbook. Your jumps are now saved locally so you can review your jump history, locations, details, and notes over time. Explore Mode Explore Mode is now available. Fly freely through Google Earth locations without the normal skydiving gameplay mechanics. It’s a more relaxed way to discover landmarks, scout locations, and experience the world from above. Additional improvements and fixes are included to improve the overall experience.

Multiplayer has been rebuilt from the ground up for smoother player movement, better stability, improved custom character syncing, and stronger tandem support. This new multiplayer system is not compatible with older versions of Skydive Sim, so all players must update to the latest version to play together.
