  Mystica is a dark fantasy set in a world of politics, grimness, and magic heavily inspired by works such as Game of Thrones, Final Fantasy, and Attack on Titan. I'm sure many will notice how the game is developed in RPG Maker- I'm a solo dev with no budget. Game dev is a hobby I absolutely want to do more with, but even if the game doesn't sell well, I'll still make more. I've worked on Mystica every day over 2 years (inspired by Bojack Horseman advice!) and am very proud of how it's shaped out, particularly the story and characters. The game takes place in a world with an energy dubbed 'magic' in the air. Some are born with the ability to manipulate it (mages) and others are not. In events before the game, magic nearly destroyed the world, thus leading to heavy persecution of anyone who can use it now.
