Originally, I wanted a very old-school system. One that only allowed saving after bosses. And you can certainly argue about what the best way is. Its 2026. Sensitivity to such old systems is not well received, and I personally now think that it would have been better that way from the start. My goal was never to annoy players, but to make it really mean something. As small as the game may be. I hope I was able to give you a little joy with this.Those who still have an old save game will notice that it is also compatible, but the bosses are not yet selectable even with a complete save state. That was a compromise to make new and old saves possible. Just play until you reach the boss and this option will also be unlocked on the old save games. Hey lil foxes out there, thank you so much for all the feedback which I've received over the last months. After the great launch on consoles I'm back with a patch for the steam version. I also planned for switch and Xbox as fast as we can. Nintendo patch policy always took some time. So stay tuned for that. Great news! Inukari - Chase of Deception is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and will release on Switch eShop later this week on March 18. That makes me so much happy I can't even describe. As an single indie dev its hard to make its way through all the great games. Hey folks, thank you so much for all the feedback which I've received in the last few months. I've put a lot of effort and poured all my heart out in Inukari and will always work on it and my other projects for improvements. Even tho I don't want to twist myself and my visions of this game. Inukari is and will be a hard / difficult game. I don't even want to be nostalgic with it. It just fits. But I have some features for you to facilitate your gaming experience - for the ones who'd like to have it a little easier. Features Easy mode is now inserted, which will heal you up, if you collect a heart. Speedrun mode has been elaborated! Hi everyone, currently I'm working on my new little coop project DWARVEN - Mining Dungeons. But this doesnt mean I will watch over Inukari. So I read something about movement and controlls and add the attack to MOUSE0/left Mouse and the Feather Shuriken to MOUSE1/right Mouse. To give you all an alternative. Nakanoi himself took some time and boost the boss rush Mode to the limit with a extra long track! Thats right thats 7,21 minutes of sweet and epicness you can enjoy. Hey peeps, thanks so much for all your support and feedback. Even a negativ review help me to improve its hard to read after so much work for sure. But hey that's my business :3 I improved some little elements of the game to make it more flawless. At least I hope so. At first I add a question for overwriting save games. Quality of life! After that I looked back on some parts that worked out so well I think. I reduce the falling speed of the bugs in forest a bit. To give u a better opportunity to avoid them. Cause in this state they are not vulnerable for you. I thought about it for a long time. But no. It's fine and that way. Let's speak about the Hills maps. They are by far the hardest part of the game I think. So I change some position of enemy's and rocks. Also I change some timing elements. The tree trunks on the waterfall on some points will go down slower to to reduce panic in you…

Hey everyone, I made a little fix cause of some V-Sync problems. But u must have V-Sync activated in your graphic settings. To keep the game on smooth 60fps. Otherwise I can go over 120 and it will cause problems with the unity engine Delta.Time. And that will cause problems with the Bugs in the Forest or with the platforms in Hills waterfalls. Gosh lets be a bit sentimental, alright? It's now over one year since I'm working on this little project with all my love and passion for plattform-games. Since I can remember back I always was into gaming. My latest back memory is while I'm sitting in front of an Atari switches all modules we have and just play video games. With the NES I fall in love with plattformers like CHIP&DALE which I'm pretty sure I can play in under 30 minutes until today xD I also can remember back while sitting in my parents car and reading my first "how to make games book" while I was around 12 or 13. It's about time; "Inukari - Chase of Deception" will be released next week on friday. As a indie-developer you have all the freedom - but also all the difficulties you have to take on alone. Is my game really finished? Will everything be as I have imagined it? Will my game really be fun? Or was it just fun for myself to work on it? All these questions you'll soon be able to answer me. I'm excited about it. I will grow with it and learn for myself what it means to create these worlds and entertain gamers. I've grown up in a time where you started your videogame-console, saw an intro and could instant start running from left to right. The pure joy - mastering level for level.
