Hi all, Fizz here. I finally have a number for you. RoboSquare: Recharged will cost $5.99 USD when it launches in Q1 2027. It's a full release, not Early Access, so that's the whole game for the price. Here's what's gone in since the last post on September 6th. A new arenaPhysics Overload is the third Capture the Core arena. That makes 15 arenas across the five modes. Roll your bot on purposeHold the new roll button (Left Ctrl by default, and it's on controller too). While you hold it, your bot stops righting itself and the movement buttons pitch and roll it instead. Let go and it rights itself again. A lot of those reviews said the same two things. There isn't enough of it, and I can't get into a match. Both were fair, and I couldn't fix either one without rebuilding the whole thing. Just wanted to take the time to tell everybody who has interacted with RoboSquare a happy holiday! I'm very proud of our team (Kostia and I for working our way through and making a finished (not perfect but still great) product. Our main goal was to make something entertaining enough for people to have fun, whether it be playing alone, or creating a fun memory with friends and family. As we decided to go Free-To-Play, this took any and all Ideas of profit away but gave the community an easy way to invite all their friends to get on. Hey everyone! Lets get right to the new stuff... Quarters! Last time you heard from us we added a decent amount of content, but here is something a little bit different, a new currency! Quarters! With Quarters comes a new premium way to purchase cosmetics alongside the original scrap currency. To gain access to the new coins all you have to do is open up RoboSquare and login with Pocketful of Quarters (POQ) in the top right corner. Quarters are a cross-game currency, meaning if you no longer want to spend them in RoboSquare there will be other games in which you can use the same coins to buy cool items. It has been a long month but we are finally ready to bring you a new iteration of RoboSquare. In this update, we are introducing several new mechanics to extend the gameplay and make it more enjoyable. Ghost Rush Gamemode Three sumo maps can now be played in ghost rush mode! Survive for three minutes while respawning ghosts run towards you from all directions. Here it is the 2.1 release! We worked hard to incorporate as much changes and quick fixes as possible after your amazing feedback on the release version of the game! in this update we worked on improving the stability and functionality of existing features as well as implementing another sumo map. TnT Run Sumo Map This new sumo map consists of three layers of breaking hexagons that players fight to control. Hey everybody who actually reads these! Just wanted to give an update as there is not much out there about Update 2.0! Here is some quick information on what you might want to know about RoboSquare. Progress We have added a ton of new, and much-needed effects, sounds, UI, and more, to spice the game up to convert it from a fun working concept, to something that is visually appealing as well as playing. We have done most of the reworks and additions that we saw v2.0 needed, now it's just tweaking some things like lighting, scene management, and other minor things but all add up to make a perfect product. Hey everybody! It's been a while since we have released any updates about RoboSquare, so this will be a quick informative announcement. Kostia and I (Griffin) have just recently graduated from college each with our computer science degrees, and with such have already started full-time work at different companies. This being said, even though a lot of our time has been freed up with no more long nights of homework, we will not work on RoboSquare full-time, but have much more time to devote to this project now.
