- A week of celebrations! - 30 July 2024
Firstly, starting now Painting Werther is available in a new language. And it will be... Turkish! Thank you so much to İpek Keçeci for reaching out to us and making it a reality. Next, Painting Werther will be travelling to Germany! For the 250th anniversary, our game will be part of the in Werther Welten, a temporal exposition in Wetzlar's Romanticism Museum. This is the German town where the real world events transpired that inspired Goethe to write his novel! It will be from September 2024 to January 2025, so if you are able don't miss out on the opportunity! Celebrating being in both tiny teams event, and the steam's visual novel fest, we, after many hours of mixing and mastering, are finally releasing more than 100 minutes of music of our last game Painting Werther!!! We have also put the biggest discount of our game in both our products! Relive the game's sorrows and beauty with the music of the game! There are also two extra songs in it for you guys to enjoy!!! The soundtrack will include both .mp3 and .flac versions of the songs. After a lot of work and care, we finally have been able to play the entire game in one sitting! We are officially in internal beta, and we are very close to Gold! Hello! We have been working very intensely this few months and we are very happy to tell you that we have completed the animations for the game!!! Hello everybody, Maybe you already know but "Mad Cream Games" is just a family of three artist enjoying making games, nothing more; and PR unfortunately is not our forte. Seeing that, we are aware that we haven't posted many development logs, because we prefer to focus on developing the game, rather than talking about it. Either way, we still feel that you deserve to know a little better of the work we are doing and in which state it is. That is why we are here to try to be a little more transparent about the development and future of Painting Werther: First the good news... The game is almost complete. More than 75% percent of all one hundred scenes are done and checked, with minor adjustment for the rest. The bad ones... We are still months away from release. 2021 is finishing and Painting Werther hasn't released yet... We are very sorry for the delay. But we haven't been idle, the game is nearly complete, we just need a few month to finish the ending and paint over some bugs. We left you with some music...
