  • Demo Hotfixes #1 - 27 August 2026

Dear Survivors! The Demo has just received a small update. Some bugs got fixed, some glitches removed. And we also improved the Controller / Gamepad Support quite a bit. Now more Gamepads should work out of the box without any further configuration needed. And now we're heading back to the Booth, updating the machines on the Showfloor. Wish us luck.

  • Gamescom 2026: The First Playable is here! - 25 August 2026

Dear Survivors!Gamescom is here. It officially kicked off. And for the very first time, after all these years, Full Circle is being presented to the public. And I still can't believe that I'm writing these words right now. We are so incredibly excited that the game is playable on the showfloor for the very first time. Both, us (the Publisher in that case. Hi, it's me, Michael writing this entry this time!) and the developer had quite some sleepless nights to get the version ready. But here it is. Feel free to visit us in Hall 10.2 and find us in the Indie Arena Booth. And in case you can't attend the show, well, we've got a neat surprise. We've made the decision to make this first playable available to everyone during Gamescom. After the show we'll take the version down again so make sure to give it a try while it is available. Keep in mind, Full Circle is still heavily in development an…

  • Character Introduction: Ena Ikosiena - 19 June 2026

Dear Survivors! With Full Circle being officially announced and coming to Gamescom later this year, we wanted to start giving you some insights into the development of the game. In semi-regular posts we’ll introduce to you certain mechanics, how music for the game is being created, how levels are being made and so on. Today however, we’d love to start with introducing to you one of the main characters of the game. Meet EnaName: Ena Ikosiena Gender: Male Age: 18 Blood Type: A- Height: 1,80m Origin: Groundstation/ Thales Primary proficiencies: Mechanic / Engineer Secondary proficiencies: Novice CombatantEna is a young Crafter from Groundstation, part of a system that divides its people into Crafters, Protectors, and Workers. • Full Circle officially announced! - 29 May 2026

Dear Survivors! The time. That moment. It has come. Most of you who have Full Circle on their wishlist already know that the game was (and still is) in development. However, today I've reached an important milestone. Today me and my publisher have finally announced the game officially. In all those years we never did this. Today we did. To the press. To the media. With a fully fleshed out announcement Trailer. It got revealed during the Indie Quest 2026 Showcase and opened up the JRPG focused Show (and yes, the game is now also part of the Steam Event for the Showcase!).And if you watched the Trailer you might have noticed something: Full Circle is going to this years Gamescom. And yes, I'll be in Cologne in late August as well. And the most important part: The game will be playable for the very first time.It is still a long way to go. But we have a plan. And we already have a rough time…

  • Full Circle: Development Update - 9 March 2026

Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post, so I thought now would be the perfect time to share something, just in time for Steam's #TurnBasedThursdayFest! Remember Full Circle? We've come a long way:The leap to full-time devFirst, I wanted to share some details on why there's been such a long period of silence surrounding Full Circle. This whole project started as a hobby alongside my day job. When Deck13 joined as a publisher early on, they understood that it was a side project for me, given that I had to maintain and manage my own company at the time. For almost two years, I was so busy that I could hardly make any progress. That's when I realised that my day job was preventing me from working on the game as much as I would have liked.Things have changed, though! With Deck13 funding the game, I can finally focus my energy on doing what I love and bringing my vision to life. I a…

  • Spindle is OUT NOW! - 13 October 2025

Greetings everyone! Our friends from Wobble Ghost have just released their first game and we've played it on the last convention we visited some time ago. And if you are looking for an oldschool (and yet somehow modern) interpretation of the Zelda-Formula (especially the Phantom Hourglass one), you really should take a look at this one. It shares the same idea as Full Circle basically. Bringing back was lost among modern games. Give that oldschool feeling, just how you remember games.

  • Improving the Battle UI - 28 May 2021

We are still working on the core mechanics of Full Circle. Visually that means we cannot show off new areas right now. We are trying to get the mechanics right in first place so that we don't have to touch them too often anymore once everything is working as intended. What we can show off right now however is the new UI during combat situations. We need to get menus in place for upcoming special battle mechanics (we really can't wait to show these once the time has come). Short info: The encouter rate is currently that high for testing purposes.

  • Speedlines & Combos - 16 April 2021

We thought about doing some form of developer devlog before. Twitter is good to show off some nice progress but it doesn't do a good job when you want to go into the details of the porgress. And the TIG Forums are a bit outdated and we're not really sure if they are worth the effort. IndieDB? Yeah. Could work. But on the other hand it has a limited reach as not everybody knows it. So, lets try making use of the Steam system. That will also allow future followers to dig through the content if they want to. Now, where we have made that introduction, lets talk about finetuning the combat system. That's what what consumed a lot of time recently. We will soon start producing more content in terms of character sprites and level variation. However, it makes sense to finetune certain mechanics before doing that as these mechanics are part of the core game loop. And combat is an important thing…
