I never intended to continue the story of A-Eye. Let me rephrase that – I never thought about that possibility. But then, a few months ago, I needed to add the Spanish language to the game. As I was copying and pasting translated lines, I couldn't help thinking about how lovable this little fellow is. And I wanted him to tell another story. But he's on his own now, so I couldn't force him to do that. Luckily, he finally has something to say. It seems that he found his way to Twitter. - Steam Awards Nomination - 25 November 2021
I wasn't sure that Press Any Button is the type of game that obtains awards. But it looks like for one reason or another, some players are going to nominate it anyway. After all, the Steam Awards are players' choice. If you want to support the game, who am I to decide whether it is good enough or not? But with this announcement, I can coordinate your support. Since you can nominate Press Any Button for one category only, I suggest that it should be "Story-Rich Game". But of course, it is still your choice. Thank you for your support! - The Spanish language is now available - 16 August 2021
All credit for that translation goes to Matías Herrero. He is the one who taught A-Eye how to speak Spanish for which I'm truly grateful. Also I don't want to make any promises, I'm just curious: Would you like Press Any Button to be translated to other languages? Since there are no options or settings in the game, you will have to uninstall it and install it again to play in Spanish. Before installation, Steam will suggest that you select your language (and if your Steam interface is in Spanish, the game will probably be installed in that language by default). - False alarm (I guess) - 20 June 2021
The previous announcement seems, from all accounts, to have been a false alarm. I checked it on my test accounts – I can still uninstall, install and play the game. Some people in the comment section say the same thing. And this is wonderful! Did it work for everyone? Is there anybody who didn't keep the game?
- Important update on switching from free to paid - 8 June 2021
Okay, it's embarrassing. I should have made more research before posting my previous announcement. In it, I wrote the following: 'If you already have the game in your library, this change will not affect you in any way'. Sadly, the truth is that it's not the case. Today I received a message from Steam Support providing the following information: Please note that free players won't keep the game. If they still have it installed, it should still be playable, but after uninstalling, the game will be removed from their libraries. I was sure, for some reason, that after switching a game from free to paid all free users will keep it forever. But they will not. I want to imply that it was my mistake. Steam Support are very nice people and they have nothing to do with this misunderstanding. Sorry for being such a dummy. I really should have obtained more information before making any announceme…

Starting with 14 June 2021, new players will have to buy the game. If you already have it in your library, this change will not affect you in any way. And if the game is on your wishlist, you have 7 days to claim it for free. Hopefully, this measure will help me to fund the development of my new game which is still going on but not as fast as I expected. All the best, Eugene Zubko.
