  Hey everyone,we have a new Demo and a small update to the main game today:Demo ReleaseAs of right now, a demo version of the game is available to download. This version includes a smaller, restricted map with fewer points of interest and three harbors. Players can perform all the usual interactions like trading, buying items and upgrading their ships. There are treasures to find and pirates to fight, so the full range of gameplay can be experienced. To get a small head start, the demo starts players off in the second-smallest ship, featuring cannon slots and slightly better stats than the starting vessel.Unlike the full version, progress in the demo is not saved, as it is intended as a short impression of the game - so while you can unlock larger ships temporarily, you will not spawn in them when restarting the demo!Update 0.72This version adds a new voice and text notification that pla…

  Hey everyone, we uploaded a new build with some MAJOR improvements: - improved minimap - new magic items to influence the wind and weather - keyboard shortcuts to browse and use items -- even when the inventory window is closed - new water shader that also reflects the direction of the wind - improved sailing mechanics to make your ship feel a little "snappier" - lots of new & improved game content & balancing.   Hello, we just uploaded Version 0.5. The game is still very much unfinished but has some changes and new features: - added a title menu - pausing the game is now possible - your ship now has a crew that works on deck to carry out your commands - waves that change with the wind conditions - you can now pick up items that float in the ocean - inventory window - the UI works with a gamecontroller (Steamdeck!) - there are some pirates that will chase you - like your own ships, pirates also subject to wind, making it possible to outmaneuver them
