Thank you for playing Kanso I hope it continues to bring you much joy and relaxation. In this update: Upgraded touch control system New health system Upgraded controller control system Fixed small bugs Performance optimisations In an ongoing effort to balance Kanso as well as possible I have reworked the controls, fixed some quirks and made it all feel more pleasant. Also! Kanso now has shields that you can pick up along an enzô. Only on difficult levels, there are now points of light you can pick up that generate a protective shield. This allows you to collide with daemons but still complete your circle. Be aware, doing so will result in an imperfect completion. This will show up for each level as a black enzô in the level select worlds. To get a white enzô completion state you but complete the level with NO collisions. A perfect circle. Get Kanso here

- New Levels - 13 July 2022
After much consideration I have reworked the 32 levels in the Foundation world. The first world you encounter after the first 'Root' levels. I initially intended these Ensô's (Levels) to be empty, a moment to focus on the circular motion of Kanso. While I feel this works conceptually, it left some players understandably a little confused on why there was no Daemons to avoid. So with that in mind I designed a set of levels that keeps in line with my intentions and also offers the same light challenge as the rest of Kanso. I hope you enjoy this addition to Kanso, and that it helps you fine your moment of Zen.

What else is there to say, Kanso now supports SteamDeck! And boy does it run well!! Such a great experience, might be my favourite way of playing! Great portability and with a TINY power draw, you can play for over 5 HOURS Go ahead and crank that TDP and those watts down to a low as they will go and Kanso will still give you a silks 60fps!

This is it, the final content update before release! It's been a longer road than I though, but we are here and ready to release to the world. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and feedback. It's been of great help, pushing me forward and helping me reach a new level in my work. - Kanso Release - 15 January 2022
Hello everyone! I am proud to say that Kanso will be released on January the 25th!! There is one more update for you all before the release (its currently being privately tested), that should come this weekend. In it there will be the new breathing season, remastered music, and a ton of bug fixes and quality of life tweaks. I've been working really hard on this to nail all the problems and polish it to where I feel its worthy of your time. Oh!! - Progress update - 24 September 2021
Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all a small update to the progress of Kanso. I've been away for the last month or so for personal health reasons, but I'm starting to make the first steps back to work. In the coming weeks I will be updating Kanso with mostly bug fixes, polishing and some new features. The road map (minus timings) looks a little something like this: Adding a new infinite play mode. Adding breathing tool. Adding some new music. Adding a lot of new quotes. Some polishing on the tutorial instructions. and a wee bit more... Hope you are all well and we will see you soon with updates galore!
- Icon update - 25 July 2021
This week we have a smaller update to let everyone, including me, catch their breath after last weeks big level update. Have you reached the end yet? So this week we have a new icon to share along with a several stability fixes and mouse and controller improvements. Still lots of wee fixes and a few more content updates planed for the coming weeks. Nothing as big as the 320 levels with the ending sequence, but things to delight non the less.

- Accessibility Mode - 26 June 2021
Added in this update is the new accessible way to play Kanso. Simply press and hold a direction on your D-pad or Arrow keys. And you will start on the corresponding position on an ensō. Keep holding the key and you will glide round each of the shapes, press two directions to slow your progress and avoid the Daemons. Included in this update: New Accessibility mode New guide pages (accessibly in-game) Controller/mouse/touch tweaks New controller layout Bug fixes and tweaks New controller layout described here. Now use your keyboard to play Kanso. Touch on the ensō or use the virtual joystick.

- Sharing is Caring. - 12 June 2021
Sharing is caring update. This week’s update comes with the ability to capture and share your journey with others in the form of beautiful cards. Get Kanso NOW Included in this update: New sharing panel 8 new image filters 20 new decals Better tuned controls for mouse. A few more bugs squashed. On the completion each level you collect guiding words to help you. Now you can share these words paired with each Ensô. Customise each one by selecting a filter from the top bar. Or press right or left with your control pad. Press the filter again to cycle through all the wonderful decals. Or press up or down with your control pad. Press the share button or the controller action button, to save your new image to your Steam gallery. And enjoy! Get Kanso NOW
