• Steam Deck Verified! - 19 December 2022

  Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition is now Verified for the Steam Deck! With the Dance of the Throne update, we've addressed a few visual and UI scaling issues when played on the Steam Deck, resulting in a more consistent experience when reading certain on-screen elements and texts. Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition already runs great on the Deck with a 60fps experience and support for the native 1280x800 resolution of the screen. We recommend using Proton 7.0-5 for the best compatibility, but we also expect all recent and experimental Proton versions to work well. In addition, the game is also touch enabled!   General New add-on content Dance of the Throne. Elena, the leader of Demiurge, will be arriving as a playable character. You'll use Elena to challenge rearranged stages and enemy configurations in Pascal's Wager. Defeat all enemies as quickly as possible, rack up chains, obtain your highest score, and fight your way to the top of the leaderboard against players from all over the world. Bugfixes Fixed an issue where Proxy Higgins’s major attack might fail to perform. Fixed an issue where the teleportation move of Fused Sprenger might be interrupted. General stability and bugfixes. • Game Update 1.2.1: Terrence Parry bugfix - 8 May 2021

  This small update fixes the parry/counterattack issue introduced with Update 1.2.0. Localization Benita's Elixir - Wind Breath now correctly states its effect of enhanced stamina regeneration instead of health in European/LATAM languages. Bugfixes Fixed an issue causing Terrence's counterattack to deal no damage when using the alternate outfit.

  We just released the first major update to Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition, which includes a lot of the changes we outlined in our March Development Update. After the update the game should show 1.0.2(1000) in the bottom left corner of the main menu. Full patch notes below: General Added exclusive fullscreen display mode.   The original Pascal's Wager was released on a vastly different platform, played on drastically smaller screensize with a different subset of control scheme. We were very clearly underprepared for the challenges and landscape of PC, and we would like to apologize for the suboptimal experience with the launch version of Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition. With the amount of feedback gathered since release, we would like to talk about what we have in store for the game in terms of improvement and additions. Camera and Controls Pascal's Wager's control fundamentals are directly geared towards using a controller as the primary means to play, and we clearly underestimated the amount of PC players that primarily use keyboard and mouse to play similar games.
