- Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 | Demo Out Now! - 15 June 2026
Get ready to try out Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 for yourself - the Steam demo is live! Set in our new USA-based town, the level featured in the demo includes mowing, strimming/weed-whacking and leaf-blowing and should take around 20 minutes to complete. We’ve worked hard to try and make it as easy to get into as possible, plus there’s no time limit, and you can replay it as many times as you want! Some of the functions have been simplified a little for the purposes of this demo (such as deck height, for example), but hopefully you’ll get a really good sense of how much difference the new grass tech makes to the whole mowing experience. Not only that, but this is the first opportunity to try out leaf-blowing - the major new feature addition in LMS2! A lot of time and thought has gone into this activity, and accommodating it is one of the main reasons we built LMS2 completely from scratch. J…

- Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 - New Grass Tech! - 6 March 2026
Following last month’s update that rounded up all of the equipment coming to the game at launch we wanted to follow-up with another topic that is extremely important in a game about cutting grass… and that’s the grass! We’ve mentioned previously that while we were proud of the grass technology we implemented in the original Lawn Mowing Simulator, it was fairly resource-hungry and didn’t leave any real headroom for us to add much more to the game (the prime example of this was leaf-blowing). So a core part of the reason for creating a new game was to rebuild everything from scratch using the experience we gained last time around - but better! And top of the list of priorities was a more realistic and visually understandable grass technology that would make the act of mowing and trimming much more satisfying - and intuitive - than before. While we’ve released clips showing early versions o…
