  Hello there fellow crazy monkeys. One more week, and one more patch, this one is the biggest we ever had. Introducing a new game mode, Ice Crysis, go and slip away in the new cold map. We also made a remake of the common map, now it's the Playground! Hope you have lot's of fun in the new maps!

  Hello fellow monkeys. I know, I know. You will start “bUt YoU SaId EvErY fRiDaY”, true, I did say that. But then Christmas happened, and vacations happened, and nothing really happened, so I did not thought that a devlog was useful. But this week, so much happened that we needed to come back. But sorry for the delay and let’s do this. Soooo… The news. First of all we will need to postpone the beta test that would happen next week to the 29th of January. The change in date is because our monkeys are finding difficult to type in a keyboard and the following reasons: We are experiencing several issues with the Unreal Engine 4.26: First we had the following problem Cannot create SoftObjectPath with short package name 'NoneNone'! You must pass in fully qualified package names The solution I achieved was to edit the Engine file (“SoftObjectPath.cpp”) and change the 72 Line if (Path.IsEmpty()…

• It's Playtest time - 9 December 2020

  Monkey Split will be open for playtest for a few days! Help us test this prototype and suggest all sorts of improvements and details about the game, it's still in a very rough state and we want to work with the community to help shaping it into something fun! This is a bit of an experiment for ourselves as well, making a game while going with the flow, but we will do our best and we will be listening closely to everyone and taking notes. ;) Share all the bugs, screenshots, videos etc. in the community. Ask all the questions about why and how things are being built. Trust nobody, not even yourself! There's a conspiracy afoot*. 🙈🙊🙉 * Conspiracy will be later added as a DLC.
