Hey all! Since the launch, we have received a lot of awesome feedback from players suggesting ways to further improve the experience of Hoa, and while we could not implement all of them, we tried to include the ones that we believe will make the most impact in this first update of Hoa. Let's look through it.. Level Selection Players can now jump to any level they want with ease right from the main menu. Anybody who got stuck can now easily unstuck themselves with this feature, or reply any level you want! Window Mode Players can now choose to play the game in a window instead of full screen. This setting can be found in the Options pop-up from either the Main Menu or Pause Menu. Bug Fix - Factory, Red Level Room Players will no longer get kicked into oblivion by the robot in the room with the red level. 各位玩家朋友们好，得益于大家的大力支持，《花之灵》（Hoa）一经发售便冲上了“Steam新品与热门商品销量榜”，并维持着90%以上特别好评的优秀成绩。在此对各位玩家献上真挚的谢意，鞠躬~ 在游戏评价中，我们看到大家除了对游戏的生动画面赞叹有加之外，亦对本作中情绪渲染起到重要作用的原声音乐印象深刻。因此，为了让更多玩家充分领略《花之灵》悦耳旋律的魅力，我们将与您分享游戏配乐制作的幕后故事，并带领各位一同欣赏《花之灵》中那些动人的乐章。 原声录制现场： https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_31eXuaCKJ0 在制作游戏的主题曲时，我们选择以管弦乐与钢琴曲结合的方式进行演奏，在乐章伊始时，钢琴弹奏出浪漫优美的旋律，即刻展现给玩家游戏的唯美童话风格。在几个小节之后，运用长笛覆盖钢琴的旋律，给音乐蒙上了一层神秘色彩。 随后，通过加入合唱团人声以及管弦乐的渐强，凸显出音乐的层次感。在乐章中段，我们加入了定音鼓与其他打击乐器，对情绪上的转折进行铺陈，也让所有乐器在此处形成“同呼吸”状态，长笛圆润饱满的音色、钢琴处变不惊的适中音量、合唱团音色唯美的和声……各声部彼此协作，打造出这首契合游戏基调的主题曲。 为了奏出理想中的效果，我们在录制时使用了交响乐团级别的人员配置完成演出。乐团的组成包括小提琴、中提琴、大提琴、低音提琴、长笛、中音长笛、双簧管、单簧管、巴松、杜杜克笛、箫、锡哨、尺八、英国圆号、竖琴、钢片琴、小号、长号、定音鼓、管风琴、钢琴以及合唱团人声，总计22种乐器参与了演奏。 除了悠扬婉转的主题曲，我们也为《花之灵》的每一章节分别制作了音乐，不同的章节都包含自己的情感色彩，当您从一个关卡跨越到另一个关卡时，视觉效果会完全改变，音乐体验也会随之发生变化。 游戏里每张地图都有属于自己的主题音乐，用来代表关卡的情绪和氛围，只要您在游戏中，音轨就会一直循环。在游戏开发时，我们尝试将更多注意力放在用音乐讲故事上，为不同的角色和情感设置不同的主题，并且希望音乐尽可能地让《花之灵》的世界和故事栩栩如生。 《花之灵》的游戏音乐能够拥有如此高质量的编排与演出，我们…
- Hoa review: a gorgeous platformer with big Studio Ghibli vibes - 23 August 2021
While Level-5's pair of Ni No Kuni games lay the biggest claim to being interactive Studio Ghibli movies (the first having actually been made in collaboration with Hayao Miyazaki's world famous animation studio and the second borrowing a former Ghibli character designer), the Vietnamese-made Hoa comes a very close second. Not only do Skrollcat Studio's lush, hand-painted visuals look like they've been plucked straight from the dewy, sun-dappled forests of My Neighbour Totoro, but you can hear it in the music, too. Johannes Johansson's sweeping, romantic piano score channels pure Joe Hisaishi goodness for the length of Hoa's two hour run time, so much so that I was half expecting to see the iconic Studio Ghibli composer's name in the end credits. As revealed today during the Wholesome Games Direct, Hoa will launch via Steam on August 24, 2021!
