Hard to take a screenshot of music and SFX! The team continues to push hard as we seek to create a candidate build for opening up Early Access. A complete overhaul of our sound effects and music systems has resulted in many more hooks in the gameplay with SFX, the music rotating properly, and nice logarithmic volume controls. Loads of bug fixing, and behind the scenes a large leveling up of our server-side horizontal scaling tech is well underway. Enhancements: Tons of new SFX hooks through the game, most fun is when you finish crafting a high value item you get paid off with a guitar lick The auto-link function for factory linking is now more picky and will not link to items without any possible inventory storage or to sim objects that are likely to wander away Speaking of factory lines, a new keyboard control (defaults to U) to toggle on and off the display of your factory lines - and…

No spoilers - but we have a freaking movie for you! But this has been a very good Tuesday. We are opening up the number of alpha testers with this build! With the full server authoritative elephant being integrated last week, we did further play testing and bug fixing and knocked out a bunch more bugs and small enhancements, and we would now like more feedback! Sometimes a Wednesday, feels like a Monday on Mars We have been crunching through a bunch of polish facing tasks, tons of UI leveling-up, keybindings and settings saved. Behind the Scenes We lead with Behind the Scenes this week. We just finished a virtual eating of an Elephant (virtual! We absolutely love Elephants and would never eat one) - we just completed moving all of our game logic from being in the client to being fully on the server. This is a huge task, it amounts to unfolding logic that was previously handled locally on each client in a stateful game loop, to now being handled on the server as stateless asynchronous transactions. This enables so many goodies for all of us: first of all, now allows us to use the full toolset of modern cloud-based horizontal scaling tech so we can fulfill our namesake - (a) Million (people playing) on Mars. Second it allows us to fully express…

New “monochrome” UI 90% in place now We have nearly completed our transition over to our “monochrome” UI view, we call this monochrome even though there are colors, but the idea is to use colors in user interface elements to be reserved for interactive elements. Enhancements: Biggest feature of all time! You can now drop just one of a stackable if you hold *either* shift key… All new main menu login screen Feel the buzz of energy graphs! Whole new energy graph display so that you can understand and go deep on your energy production, consumption and overall battery storage. Added your current latitude and longitude on mars to the main display Added your settlement’s current cash balance to the main display New Kilo-class Thorium Salt Reactor added to the game - 10 kW of energy 24x7! Huge step up for the pathfinding - development view Huge week of productivity here for the team, so much to update you with this week. The highlight of the week is a shift to a new pathfinding tech - A* Pathfinding Pro by Aron Granburg. The screenshot above is a development only view with the Unity Gizmos turned on showing a rover doing a long path around a hill that would be found in West Ladon Valles around 23 S, 29W in the Margaritifer Sinus quadrangle (MC-19). What attracted us to integrated A* Pathfinding is that it is happy to create grids dynamically across terrain tiles and is not hung up on the boundary between terrain tiles. We are looking forward to deeply leveraging this into a number of new features and behaviors. Enhancements: All new pathfinding tech is in place, a lot of benefits - many bugs fixed, better rover behaviors, and even about 1000 lines of code have been prune…

Leveling up the terrain again! Changes: Stackable's can now be stacked into each other up to their stack limit Based on player feedback, we removed the radar widget in the upper right corner Re-arranged the left-hand navigation buttons and divided them into two cohorts - going forward the left-hand side is about “menu-like” options that take the player up and out of the game, and the right hand side “deeper” into the core settlement crafting game Chat window is now wider, location and time have been moved around Added more options to the settings screen Bugs Fixed: Fixed a bug affecting brand new players failing to connect properly on first connection Fixed some edge cases in moving around partial stacks of stackable items Fixed the spawn height for new players Fixed an item duplication bug that occurred when moving stacks into partially full containers Night on Mars was way too dark, f…

Leveling up the terrain again! The team had a bit of time off around for the past week, but we still have some updates for you! Above you can see the new terrain tech with the first pass of intentional texturing and object scattering from our art team. It feels even better close up - cannot wait for you to play! Features Added: Feedback system - we created an in-game feedback dialog where you can send to the team a screenshot and some text and let us know about a bug, some UX confusion, or something you would like to see in the game and it will send it directly to the dev team. All new settings and options UX - a complete overhaul of the player settings and the key bindings for the game make it easier to customize the game and keep your settings and even discover a bunch of commands you didn't know we made for you :) Achievements are now toasting in-game, we now have achievements toasti…

Short description

Million on Mars delivers the most realistic Mars city-building MMO experience. Granted 40 acres of real Martian terrain, shop for rovers, energy systems, & factories to begin production on Mars. Leverage your skills and rovers, prepare your settlement for the arrival of the initial 20 Martians.

About this game

Join the Discord About the Game Space to Venture delivers the most realistic Mars survival crafting city-building experience. Your homestead is a venture corporation with up to a $1 Billion of funding from Ad Astra Unlimited. You are staked with 40 acres of real Martian terrain, carefully shop for your initial rovers, energy systems, and other factories to begin in-situ production on Mars. S2V is a MMO where your settlement is persistent and part of the greater Mars / Earth / Asteroid economy - craft, build and trade with other players and work cooperatively with your friends to build a Martian city. Leveraging your team of rovers and your problem solving skills, prepare your settlement for the arrival of the initial 20 Martians. Trailblaze to become one of the founders of a new great civilization on the red planet. Explore Mars via Real Terrain We have lovingly taken the incredible 3D digital terrain height map data from JPL/University of Arizona’s HiRISE project to create the highest fidelity Martian terrain possible. Your 250 meter hexagon on a side plot of terrain is the real deal - 40 acres of Mars at that exact latitude and longitude on the Red Plant. Command a Team of Rovers Rovers, robotics and automation are the true work horses on the Red Planet. Command small scout and repair rovers, larger mining & hauling rovers, or even take a drive on the most exotic desert in the Beast. Keeping your rovers in working condition, well powered and planning what to focus their efforts on will consume much of your attention. Energy is the Key Craft over 200 Recipes We have the most rigorous deep crafting experience for settling Mars. Starting with the sun, the Martian regolith, the thin Martian atmosphere and the supplies you have purchased and brought from Earth you will boot strap the in-situ manufacturing on Mars to create your settlement. Examples include using a cryogenic atmospheric distiller to chill down the Martian air and store Carbon Dioxide. Scoop up the regolith (Martian dirt) and bake out the water content and then use electrolysis to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Take the hydrogen and combine with the carbon dioxide via the Sabatier pr…

Steam marketplace comparison data

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Sep 22, 2026 to Sep 22, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $0.00
  • Highest observed: $0.00

Million on Mars: Space to Venture's USD price history spans from Sep 22, 2026 to Sep 22, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $0.00, the highest is $0.00, and the first visible tracked price is $0.00. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 0
  • Discounted days: 0 days
  • Deepest markdown: No discount tracked
  • Latest sale window: No sale window tracked

Million on Mars: Space to Venture's tracked USD rows do not contain a discount window. This means no available snapshot in the stated coverage has usable discount metadata; it does not prove that the game was never discounted. Missing snapshots or archived rows without complete metadata can hide a sale, so SteamPulse does not infer pricing strategy from this absence.

If a later snapshot includes discount metadata, it will appear here with its recorded depth, price, date, and sale name when available. Until then, this section should be read only as a description of the available rows, not as evidence about the publisher's promotion policy.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00, from Sep 22, 2026 through Sep 22, 2026. Among rows without discount metadata, the longest unchanged run lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00. The latest run records $0.00 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking as the same recorded undiscounted price. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $0.00
  • Current list price: $0.00
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Million on Mars: Space to Venture at $0.00 in USD, with no active discount metadata. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
