  Hello Cook-Out fans! To make it easier for the dev team to pinpoint the cause of issues in the game going forward, this patch 1.15.1 adds additional error tracking to the game. • Can't start Cook-Out through Steam Link? — Here's a fix! - 19 December 2023

  If you're using Steam Link on any of the Meta Quest headsets and can't get Cook-Out past the "Next Up" step on the headset (see the screenshot above), so that it only runs on your main monitor, the cause is likely that you don't have SteamVR set as you current OpenXR runtime. This post will give you some background on this issue and show you how to fix it. Background Cook-Out uses OpenXR which means that it can and will run with any OpenXR runtime on your computer. Which runtime is used can't be controlled by the game. Rather, whatever runtime is set as the current OpenXR on your computer will be used. The Oculus PC client will give you an explicit warning if it isn't set as your current OpenXR runtime, with a button to set is as such. Hence, most Quest users using the Quest with their PC will most likely have Oculus set as their current OpenXR runtime. This is fine when running the gam…

• Temporary Patch Reversion — Lost Progress Hotfix — Permanent Fix in the Works - 30 October 2023

  This patch reverts the previous patch from last week (https://steamcommunity.com/games/1523720/announcements/detail/3747617344196555415) completely. As reported by users, the previous patch resulted in seemingly lost in-game progress, for which we are deeply sorry. We can confirm however that all save data still remains intact; the location where it's stored has simply changed. We have therefore released this temporary reversion patch to allow you to access your old save from before the previous patch again. Any save data from after said patch is however unavailable now instead. Thank you all for your patience!

• Patch Notes 1.14 - 11 July 2023

  Hi Chefs, We have added in-game user reporting. You can access the option from a button in the wrist menu in multiplayer session which will show a list of users participating. In case of misbehavior, select a user and follow the quick steps for reporting. Exiting the multiplayer session will preserve the list of users participating which means that you can report a user after the session has ended. We wish you an even happier cooking!
