• Your feedback made it into the game! - 4 February 2023

  Lovely hoomans! After the initial launch of the demo we gathered a ton of valuable feedback from YOU and now some of that made it into the demo: Added a pause menu that can be accessed using "Esc". "Exit button" in inventory closes the inventory instead of taking you to the main menu. Increased walking speed. No running animation yet but I'm tempted to create a skip cycle animation for the full game! Personally I call it skippety-hop which I learned was not correct Thoughts? Chick Edvins obsession with shiny things is not as random anymore! Added missing translations for the save and load menu and the "dancing cutscene". Updated the info on the how to play menu (not Chinese or Greek) Now back to the developing the full game. This will be the last demo update we see until release... I think!

• Language pack added! - 30 October 2022

  Dear humans, Much thanks to our great community, the demo is now also available in: Portuguese - Brazilian Greek Russian Hungarian In addition to that I also added a bugfix that was only present in Mac and Win builds. In the previous version you could actually trigger TWO oven doors. Let's just call it a removed feature and not a development oversight. For more dev insight check out our Kickstarter updates! • Demo available on Linux! - 1 July 2022

  Finally, I got to fixing the Linux build of the demo. The main issue we had was that the intro cut scene wouldn't play. After some correspondence with Unity and digging in support forums, we found that playing cut scenes on Linux builds were miraculously fixed in the latest update! A bit annoying but also glad it was an easy fix! Which means a Linux version of the demo is LIVE on Steam. If you try it out let us know how it's behaving! While adding that, we also fixed: 1 teeeeeny tiny bug - that no one luckily has reported on yet. Phew! Cleaned up some unused game assets Minor performance improvement on scene loading. Work is ongoing! Mooooo!

• Wings - Women's day event! - 6 March 2022

  Hello humans! It's time for the Women's day event hosted by WINGS. Johanna and Klara streams a play through of the game and shares some behind the scenes "secrets" on story elements and characters. Seeing it being a Women's day event we'll also talk more about the inspiration behind some of the male characters in the game and how the farm is coping with the new found sentient beings. Mooo!

• Successfully funded on Kickstarter! - 2 December 2021

  WE DID IT! A Trail of Ooze has been successfully funded on Kickstarter! ːsteamhappyː 30 days of campaigning and many more days of researching, setting up the Kickstarter page, planning rewards and pre-campaigning. • Demo and Kickstarter release! - 26 October 2021

  Demo and Kickstarter released! Two weeks ago we launched the demo of A Trail of Ooze and the feedback has been absolutely amazing and so rewarding! Hearing what players think and getting feedback on the gameplay is invaluable to us. We have already used that feedback and made some minor bug patches and performance updates.
