- Sidescrolling lost-world adventure Little Orpheus finally lands on PC in September - 16 August 2022
Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture devs The Chinese Room are bringing their postponed cosmonaut adventure Little Orpheus to PC on September 13th. The game had originally been due to launch on March 1st but was delayed . Little Orpheus stars a Soviet Russian character, and the devs wanted to review its content before release out of sensitivity to the conflict in Ukraine. Check out the trailer below. Read more

Publishers Secret Mode have announced that they won't be releasing action adventure game Little Orpheus for PC today, as previously planned. The game features a Soviet cosmonaut, which Secret Mode wrote "may be upsetting to players at this time." Read more

In light of recent world events, today's launch for Little Orpheus will be delayed. Little Orpheus is a fantastical journey set in 1962, inspired by classic adventure stories such as Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Flash Gordon, and The Land That Time Forgot. It is a tale about an intrepid cosmonaut and the triumph of the human spirit against incredible odds. While Little Orpheus was originally released on Apple Arcade in June 2020 and does not directly reference recent world events, we recognise some of the game's themes and content may be upsetting to players at this time. We thank you for your understanding and will share more information at a later point.
