• Slimes of the World 2024 Update! - 14 July 2024

  Slime 64: Slimes of the World has received an important update, bringing its physics more in-line with the final game! Game physics have been updated to better reflect the final game. Rock is easier to control while rolling on the ground. Subtle tweaks to gravity, with changes to jump, fire jump, air hover, and air updraft to generally preserve existing capabilities. Introduced "Air Resistance" - Air Updraft will be less effective and be usable for a shorter duration while moving at high speeds. This is to prevent players from being able to vault mountains, and to let us better design levels that keep the player contained, while not restricting much existing movement. Resetting the stick to Neutral is no longer faster than simply holding forward. This primarily effects the Fire Slime.   Welcome to the grand opening of the Slimesonian's Slimes of the World exhibit! Experience the powers of water, fire, air, and earth slimes in this two-hour long standalone prologue to Slime 64! Starting now the Slime 64: Slimes of the World Prologue is available for download, listed as the Demo of the full game here on Steam. In the biz, it's what some would call a "vertical slice" of the full game - it serves as a demonstration of the visuals, gameplay, character, and overall experience we're aiming to build in the final product!
