  Hello everyone! My name is Maxime, creator of the Lazy Kiwi studio; its one and only member by the way. I'm writing to you today to talk about Blon, my very first game. I remember very clearly that night five years ago, and the impromptu wake-up call at 5am: I had an idea, I had to write it down. Three hours and fifteen pages later, I was back to sleep. I had a great desire to share this simple, unpretentious game, but I wanted the player to feel that he was progressing, while playing only a few minutes from time to time if he wished. I hadn't experienced enough games of the same kind, and that frustrated me. On the other hand... how to do it without experience? So without any idea of where to start, and without the slightest hesitation, I threw myself headlong into developing and learning pixel art. And... it didn't look like much.
