  Hi folks! It's been a minute! I've been focusing most of my energy the last few years on my new game, Tall Trails, but popping in here to push a small update to Fossil Corner today & fix some bugs! Here's what changed: Fixed a bug where players would accidentally throw their fossils around instead of clicking them Fixed a crash that could occur when running the game on multiple displays Added a "Controls" list to the menu to remind people how to take pictures Thanks everyone!   Hi y'all! I am very excited to say that Fossil Corner's Fall Update is now available for everyone! It's a huge update, and I hope you all enjoy! Game is 20% off this weekend to celebrate! Collect a new type of fossil, the strange & beautiful Crinoids! Pull open the barn doors and let the sun shine in in your New Workspace! Use the Scrapbook App to create scrapbooks of your collection! Unlock new items, like the Record Player, Printer, & Eurypterid Pillow! And a lot more! Now that this update is done, I'm planning on moving on to working on new projects. This game has been a real treat to make. Thanks again to everyone who's played. You have all been so supportive and kind! I feel very lucky.

• Big Fall Update coming in October! - 16 September 2021

  Hi folks! Ok! Hype news! The BIG FALL UPDATE is now done with feature development, and is entering beta testing this week! That means the update will be coming in October! Here's a lil' preview of what the update contains: - A new fossil type, Crinoids! - A new workspace! - A new app for your computer, the Scrapbook! - Many more items and features, including a record player, a printer, a new level for Fossil Finders, and more!

• 1.0.5 -- Debugging! - 13 August 2021

  Hi! I'm still hard at work on the big Fall update, but took a quick detour to fix these bugs. Thanks to everyone who reported! - Fixed an issue where players who never finished the "Buy a shelf" tutorial never got the ability to stash or recycle items - Fixed a bug where the "Endpoint Found" animation would force you to drop a picked up fossil - Fixed bug where stacks of pedestals glitched out when picked up - Limited the length of copy/paste-able "Genealogy Codes" from crossbred fossils to 1,000 characters. This will make it so super heavily crossbred crossbreeds won't be accurately shareable any more, but unfortunately this is needed! These codes could potentially get enormous, slowing down or crashing the game for some players. Sorry for the inconvenience

• Preview of New Fossil + Discord Contest - 23 July 2021

  Hi everyone! Two little things to share today: There's a contest on the discord server! It's called.... A ROCK IN A SOFT PLACE! This contest is all about taking good care of your fossils! Everyone can submit suggestions of new comfy / strange items they think would be fun to put fossils on. The winner's suggestion will be added to the game! So if that appeals to you, hop on the server! I wanted to show off a preview of the new type of fossil that will be added to the game in the fall update! Meet Crinoids! Crinoids are fantastically weird little filter feeders that emerged in the Cambrian and are still around today. So that's all for now! I'm still working hard on the update. • Big Free Update in the Works! - 1 July 2021

  Hi! Hope you all have been good. I've been kind of taking a break for the past few weeks, finishing a game is nuts. But now I'm back! And good news: Fossil Corner is getting a big free update! Adding: A new type of fossil! 🐚❓ More story emails / a new mechanic that lets you know when you've reached the end of the story✍ New unlockables and items (including some new music from Dylan & Bobby!) 🎶🎵 And more! The update will take a while, because it's pretty big! I'd expect it to be ready in early Fall. I'll post about it on my Twitter if you want to see it while it's WIP. Anyways, thanks to everyone who's played the game / left nice reviews :) the response to this game has been truly wonderful

  Hello again everyone! This is a small patch to add some convenient features / fix some bugs that people have reported in the last week. Here's some highlights: Added an "8 Star" Steam Achievement Added a 4k resolution setting Fixed bug where photos stop appearing after completing some challenges And more stuff.   Hi folks! It's been wonderful to see so many people playing and enjoying the game! This is a little update to fix some bugs people have reported. Here are some notable ones: Fixed Steam achievement not working for combined and tumbled fossils Fixed fossils sometimes popping from the second workspace to the first workspace And a few more!
