• DLC Level Pack - 9 December 2024

  We've just released a DLC level pack to Bub Block that adds five more levels to the base game! This DLC includes the following new level types: Shadowy: The edges of the field are covered by darkness, making it difficult to see. Muddy: Mud spots on the field cause players to slow down when they walk across them. Beachy: A beach ball bounces around the field, pushing away players. Rocky: Indestructible rocks litter the field, making it trickier to navigate. Bubbly: Players are encased in bubbles that prevent them from getting too close to each other. For example, the "bubbly" level looks like the following: The backgrounds for the original three levels have also been updated to match the quality of the DLC levels. • Timers and Achievements - 20 February 2023

  I've added a timer in the game, so you can see how long you've been able to survive a given match. I'd like to do more with this timer in the form of new achievements (e.g., break X number of blocks in Y minutes) and maybe even leaderboards, but I want to hear from the community first on what y'all think! I did, however, update the current achievements, so you now have to play / survive on each field for at least a minute. It's still pretty easy to get these achievements if you fiddle with the settings, but that was always the point: I want you to try out different options!

• Bub Block Goes Online - 27 May 2022

  Good news, Bub Block finally has official online support! This comes with a HUGE caveat, however, as the online mode in its current form is still very buggy and limited. If the Remote Play Together feature was already working great for you, then I would recommend sticking with that. But if you want to try out the new, "proper" online mode, here are the details: In the game rules screen, select the Invite button to invite Steam friends to play with you. There are currently no public lobbies; you must play through Steam invites. Online players will have a Wi-Fi icon next to their Bub avatar to denote that they are not local players. Multiple people can be on the same computer and still play online. If you run into any issues, please post them in the Steam forum so we can investigate. Thank you!
