It notes, "All final assets for the upcoming game will be created by experienced artists." A new job listing on Neowiz's career page has confirmed that Round8, the developer behind much-renowned soulslike game , Lies of P , is hiring an "AI Creator" for its Game Art and Creative team. - Lies of P finally gets Elden Ring-style co-op, and I'm heading straight back to Krat to replay my favorite soulslike - 2 December 2025
Lies of P was the first soulslike game I ever loved. I'd dabbled in the likes of Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and even Code Vein, but a younger me simply couldn't handle the punishment. Older me manages slightly better, but while I love the atmosphere and setting of Elden Ring, I simply can't bring myself to plow dozens of hours into its brutal, vast open world. Enter Lies of P, with its wickedly divine steampunk stylings and bizarre yet intriguing fairytale plotline. If you, like me, refuse to decrease the difficulty (in the wake of its Overture DLC, you can do just that ), then perhaps recruiting a pal is a better call, and this new mod has you covered. While one is a bruising cousin of Dark Souls, and the other is a strategic, turn-based affair, there's a lot of shared inspiration and visual cues between 2023's excellent Lies of P and this year's GOTY frontrunner, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 . Lies Of P developers at Round8 and Neowiz have received bonuses as a reward for the Gabbo -like action game reaching 3 million cumulative sales across physical and digital on PC and consoles. Cheers, VGC . As originally reported by South Korean tech site The Elec , staff have each received a previously arranged 10 million won bonus (about £5400) early, alongside two weeks' paid holiday. I'm bad at soulslikes. There, I said it. While I often love their aesthetics, I consistently find myself bouncing off the likes of Bloodborne and Elden Ring simply because I go through phases of doing incredibly well before getting absolutely obliterated. Yet I keep going back to them. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's endgame is my current conquest - I'm determined to defeat Simon, the same way I was determined to defeat the Nameless Puppet when I reviewed Lies of P. As much as I lose the plot, for whatever reason getting my ass handed to me is just too much fun , and that's why, when Lies of P Overture shadow dropped at Summer Game Fest, I felt myself sigh, strap on my metallic arm, and get ready to return to Krat. While it's supposed to be tough, the new Lies of P Overture DLC might take the challenge too far. A new director's letter from developer Neowiz acknowledges how some parts of the expansion didn't quite turn out as intended, and the team promises that it's looking into potential difficulty nerfs soon.
