Corrected a bug in the brightness setting where a bug in Unity's post processing caused a loss of half the horizontal resolution.

Brightness control added, minor updates and GJ-34 cutscene updated. Try the new brightness control if you have an LCD based headset, it brings out the colors and improves playability.

Graphics update and seated play improvement. Can now tele-grab items when seated by using the grab motion (grip or trigger depending on setup) when the teleport beam turns magenta on items that can be grabbed. List of Improvements: Launch sequence OTW view improved, new radio contact. Tele-grab items when playing seated. Cleaned up wake sequence. Second planet sounds randomized. Bug Fixes: Delay added to hand physics to reduce hand sticking in walls (usually while taping). Improved pyramid light leaks. Correct issue where reds might still be around after paralyzing.

- Crystal Clunk Update - 18 September 2022
Update with small improvements. Corrected issue where used power crystals did not hinder or indicate to players that the socket was already occupied. Squeezing the trigger with an empty hand results in an extended index finger pose. Change List Added finger point animation for more precise UI control. Added radial "phone" like touch control for Astrodynamics menu. Attached crystals resist attempts to attach another crystal. Empty power crystals are slightly darker to appear real (not ghost attachment indicators). Attached power crystals make a clink sound when colliding with items. Additional hint and native glyph added to second planet structure.

Improvements: Controller setup menu now available in game. Minor cosmetic updates to HX-118, Tau Ceti. Additional non-conductive elements added to scene 2. Bug Fixes: Fixed bug where Europa (the moon) texture was rendered on Europa (the asteroid). Reduced volume of impact sounds on many items.
- Exoplanet Update - 4 August 2022
The Exoplanet Update is all about the VR Starmap. Whether in game or in the English labeled bonus version, we have added a zoom capability and planetary bodies. Players can zoom into star systems and see exoplanets, fictional game exoplanets, and in the Sol system, hundreds of objects. Except for the game planets, data is from recognized sources . In the case of the solar system, all object positions are from the JPL Horizons database. Exoplanets in habitable zones have the names underlined. Stars also now have flare brightness commensurate with their luminosity vales. Starmap Improvements: Zoom to objects around stars in the starmap, sun flares reflect actual star luminosity. - Achievements Added - 10 January 2022
Steam achievements added based on game score data. Achievements shown on steam are from the last PLAYED mission. in addition small bug fixes for ship door opening in docking scene and hints flashing in main scene when previous scene was exited with hints on in application menu.
- Corrections and Post Credit Scene - 2 January 2022
This update corrects bugs, lays groundwork for more hand positions, and adds a post credit scene. Bug Fixes: Fixed bug where "Reds" spawning was not curtailed when portal "becomes" in-active. "Double" vision due to fog fixed in TC cut scene. Updates: Removed Vive controller diagram in help. Added detail to Tau Ceti system poster. Hints button disabled on controller menu for hard level. Refactored hand model code, added minor second grip position for hand. Improved backpack attach and detach to avoid minor glitches. Added post credit scene.
- Application and Hint Menu - 11 December 2021
An in-game application menu with controller help and game hints has been added. Empty crate in ship has been removed to provide more room for the orbital mechanics sim. Poster of Tau Ceti planets has been added based on latest info. Application button toggles the-in game application window. Holding the application button down for three seconds automatically transitions to the main menu scene. Application window shows controller help (early) game hints, and a quick game status.

- Controller Update - 16 October 2021
This update adds improved support support for thumbstick controls and grip button object pickup. Thumbstick Support Previously thumbsticks worked like track pads, you would have to click down to get the teleport beam. Now, by selecting "Use THUMBSTICK" in the preferences menu, you only need to push forward to get a teleport beam (or push back to drop a carried item). When the thumbstick is allowed to re-center, the teleport is executed. Grip Button Pickup Previously objects could only be picked up by the trigger button. Now, by selecting "Grip PICKUP" in the preferences menu, objects will be picked up by using the grip button. Like the trigger, if you just click and release the grip button the object will be carried. Release in the same way as the trigger. If you click and hold the grip button in, when you release the grip, the item will drop. Bug Fixes B-20 changed to a 90 second count…

Mission and Other Updates Added explicit mission instructions to the onboard database. Database now flashes yellow after first Medical Scanner use. Updated look and feel of the Medical Scanner. Changed HX-118 launch conditions. Now will only launch if craft is space-worthy instead of letting player kill himself. Added prompt when hull breaches preventing liftoff.

Changes to TCT based on player comments: Replaced step in cockpit with ramp to eliminate user popping up and own when on edge of step. Added new function to ensure user eye level is consistent when entering the cockpit. Added broadcast message from mothership informing player of "return to orbit" objective. Added medical scanner to remind player of exploration objective. Removed useless first aid kit and provided a marginal health benefit from medical scanner.

It's been a long road but TCT is now live and ready to go. I hope you enjoy playing it! Like other Indie developers, creating this game has been a passion rather than a chore. I think most of us do it because it is the type of game we would want to play. Now it's your turn to play and my turn to work.
