A bug that we just had to squash, in fact the name of the game depended on it! Fixed a rare issue where a character could die twice which meant a select few puzzles could be completed without killing everyone.

Squashed a few more bugs! General improvements: Fixed minor bug/inconsistency with pathfinding behaviour. Fixed an issue where characters did not correctly display footsteps despite having to move in order to shoot. Fixed a bug where if an alarm clock did not detect someone at the start it would not animate if a character walked into it later. Fixed an issue where characters affected by multiple alarm clocks did not correctly visualize they still were after removing one of them. A patch just in time for the weekend! It is now possible to press anywhere on a grid tile and the object on top of the grid tile will always be selected. The size of the main text of the tutorial windows has been slightly increased for better readability on SteamDeck. Fixed rare character animation bug. Happy new year! Gameplay changes: Fixed characters not showing footsteps if they targeted a bullseye while standing on treasure chest coins. Fixed footsteps incorrectly being shown if removing one out of multiple treasure chests affecting the character at the time. Characters that have a target but are affected by treasure chest now play the correct idle animation. Characters that have a target but are affected by treasure chest will no longer place a target icon on them. When placing a treasure chest on a character it will now correctly play a particle effect. Pressing the button that rotates ("Q" or "D-Pad/Left") the object held now only plays a sound if it can be rotated. There is no longer a tiny amount of delay between the scene loading, revealing the absence of a puzzle and the wrong HUD, and the puzzle actually appearing. It's that time of day again, a new patch for Everyone Must Die: A Western Standoff: Added the ability to click and drag to move the camera around, in the World Map and Puzzles, by pressing both Left Mouse Button and Right Mouse Button down at the same time. You can rebind this in the Options menu. Improved lighting and fixed minor collision issues on ~50 puzzles Fixed an instance where the gunsmoke turned blue in certain angles on "Long range bounce" Fixed an issue with the gamepad where the bind for the back button would stop working in menus. Another small update with some minor fixes: Achievements completed in the demo build will now be given to the player directly when launching the standard version. Fixed situations where holding special items over the incorrect tutorial placement outline would show as a valid position when it shouldn't.
