  As 2024 comes to a close, we want to update everyone on where we are on the Roadmap we shared earlier this year! We've made some great progress, with three major updates coming out in the last few months, and still two more still to come. We hope to have further updates soon on the official full release date, but in the meantime know a new update is coming to you soon (and with a mysterious new friend to meet)! • Balancing Update - 19 September 2024

  Hey, mercenaries! Remnants of the Rift is back with a new update! We've been working on some balancing lately, so, without further due, let's jump into what's new. First off, we've been balancing the difficulty of the game. There's something for everyone: from the beginner player trying to acclimate to the game, to the most seasoned mercenaries looking for a challenge. There are also updates to the enemies and bosses to keep combat fresh and interesting. We've added new stages to play in, so get ready for some new areas to explore in The Bast. We hope you enjoy this update! If you play the game, be sure to leave a review, it really helps indie game devs!

• Update 0.5.3.9 - 27 June 2024

  New Features Rheem’s store has been added to the game, allowing players to completely reroll a Skill’s Bits. Lore and Dialogues have been expanded. Dialogue UI has been overhauled, making it easier to follow which character is saying each line. Player will now receive special rewards from each faction by reaching a certain amount of points with them. System Fixed misc. Input errors which would lock up UI movement Fixed Dialogue error in which a new Character wouldn’t update their portrait and/or name. Changed currency requirements for Rheem’s Store Changed currency requirements for Juno’s Store Removed currency limit at Twins’ Shop Audio and Visual Assets Rheem’s Song has been added to his Shop Fixed Controller Icons in Tutorials.
