  On 11/10/2023 7:00 (UTC), the update patch 1.23 of Forspoken (main game, DLC and demo) has been released. *This update only applies to the Steam version. *The updated version name will be displayed on the game's title screen. Patch Notes Technical Issues: ・Fixed an issue where the game doesn't operate properly on Steam Deck™ in some cases.

  Related: Forspoken - Known Issue (Patch 1.22) - Steam News (steampowered.com) There was an issue on patch 1.22 (released on 9/29/2023 7:00 ) where the game could've crashed when the Frame Generation was set to ON while using a specific Intel GPU. We have confirmed that this issue can be resolved by applying the new graphic driver (Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4952 and later) released by Intel. If you are experiencing this issue, please download the subject driver from Intel's website. We apologize for taking time to resolve this issue. Forspoken Team

  AMD has unveiled that the latest in the line of its frame rate-boosting graphics technologies, FSR 3 FidelityFX Super Resolution , has been released and is available now in two games.   Patch Notes Graphic Updates: ・Implemented the needed updates required to have the game compatible to AMD's FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3. *FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 combines temporal upscaling and frame generation to deliver significantly higher performance. *Frame generation is enabled separately from upscaling and is available when using AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series and higher, NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 20 Series and higher, and Intel® Arc™ 7 Series and higher GPUs.   Patch Notes Feature Updates: ・Adjusted the visual effects for Frey's Shot spell. ・Changed the default Sprint button from "L3" to "L3 or 〇". *Existing save files will not be affected. ・Frey can now run in certain locations, such as Pilgrim's Refuges, the Archives, and the Mausoleum. *Running will remain disabled during certain event scenes.
