• Piratopia: Raiders of Pirate Bay is going live on Kickstarter! - 16 February 2023

  We are excited to announce that Piratopia: Raiders of Pirate Bay (fondly known as Piratopia 2.0), will launch on Kickstarter later this month! Get ready to chart a course across the open seas, discover new lands, friends and enemies, while writing your own legend as the fiercest pirate. Here's what you can expect from the new game: 1) A bigger and more exciting world, with diverse biomes, quest lines, and treacherous new enemies. 2) New ship classes and gearing/weapon systems, so you can strategize and experience the game in new ways. 3) More complex systems, including recruitable NPCs, team dungeons, new PVP modes, and more. • All Hands on Deck: The Clan Challenge - 18 January 2023

  Are ye up for a string of salty challenges? “All Hands on Deck: The Clan Challenge" will be your first quest. Clan Leaders must round up their crew to compete for treasure and glory. Aspiring Clan Leaders must submit their Clan name by 23:59 GMT+8 on January 26th, 2023. through our DISCORD. We'll be creating channels for each submission, so if ye can't find your Clan name on the list, reach out to the admins by 14:00 GMT on January 27th, 2023. Rally at least 10 Clan members to join your assigned channel by 23:59 GMT+8 on January 29th to complete this challenge. • 100.000 Downloads! - 29 January 2022

  Hi Pirates, I have great news to share... the game recently passed 100.000 of organic downloads, all in less than 3 months!... I'm speechless, it's hard to grasp the amount of pirates that have connected to the server and played. That's an insane milestone we crossed together and I can't thank you all enough for being part of this and pushing me into expanding the game up until this point. I'm sure plenty of you have questions regarding updates and the future of the game. If you are part of our Discord, you know that currently I'm trying to wrap up one of my games, Homewind, so my energy and focus is on that for the time being.   Hello Pirates! Thank you for playing the latest beta even if it was a short one. I’ve received a few feedback and I’ll be making some changes and run another beta this weekend, starting from Friday 7pm BST until Monday! This beta will contain : * Bigger map. There is more space between areas allowing for the red fleet to not be too close to cozy cove as well as the other smaller fleet. * More Fleet in the map. * Cap trading resources so it doesn’t snowball to crazy amounts of gold. * Made 2 of the 3 Ports more accessible. * Add Fish to Resource traders around cozy cove. * Add Difficulty Popup alert when going into an area while being under levelled. * Balance tweaks on certain enemies. • Public Beta #3 - 28 September 2021

  Hello Pirates, I'm happy to announce the third and probably last public beta will open the 1st October, 7pm BST and close Monday the 4th. The beta contains : Simple story and story task Trading and more materials More small NPC fleet roaming around safe zone Gold is persisted between sessions Smaller improvements on chat, power balance, enemy loot etc.. There will be a soft reset on ship and parrot levels, that means that some levels will be subtracted based on thresholds. See you in the open seas, Pirates!
