Short description
Mistmoon Falls is an open world murder mystery set in a farm-sim town that's now sans farmer. Question the locals, use tools to uncover clues, form hypotheses, and sift through some sinister goings-on to find the killer.
About this game
Mistmoon Falls is a detective game set in a rustic island town where peace and contentment reign, and everyone sorts their recycling. Or, at least, it might look that way, if you ignore the freshly murdered farmer. But as the agent sent to investigate, you mustn’t ignore the murdered farmer. Instead, you must find clues, question the townsfolk, and gather enough evidence to make an arrest. In the meantime, you'll discover Mistmoon Falls harbors more than its fair share of secrets, not to mention denizens more sinister than the Tourist Board has been letting on… Work the case however you see fit (this is both a feature and an imperative, detective, 'cuz there's no hand-holding)—just make sure you find out... Features A bonafide mystery, where progress requires insight: the evidence is there, if you know where to look An open world town, reminiscent of your favorite farm-life sim An array of crime-solving tools, including CSI spray, audio bugs, and a metal-detector Paper trails to follow (fun ones, I promise) A hypothesis system—express your theories and confront suspects with them Supranormal goings-on... Tools of the Trade CSI spray will reveal clues, if you know what you're looking for: The metal detector will... well, detect metal: Plant audio bugs and reap valuable forensic data/juicy gossip: But nothing beats old-fashioned detective work: Accessibility There are plans to address text readability and other UI concerns.
