• Update 7 - 27 June 2024

It's been awhile since I've updated the game, but Update 7 brings lot of necessary additions and fixes. I want to make it clear the names credited at the end of the Main Story is simply me crediting the creators of all the various assets I used to help make this game. Updates: -updated the alien starting area of the game, made traversing the landscape easier, and added a story component at the end. -added an additional segment after the starting alien area that expands on the lore of the game. -added a post story sequence of missions after you get to the bridge where the team catches up with the main antagonist again. -added a very small additional segment after Mission 3 (where you go back to the GemCo facility with Bri) that briefly expands on the lore of the game. -getting Bri to open up now allows her to visit and have interactions the restroom area. -Updated the UI for viewing anim…

• Update 6 - 29 June 2023

comments: I took a break from updating due to burnout, some life changes, and generally being overwhelmed by comments/reviews for this game. I was working on game updates off and on though. I did try to implement a keyboard mapping framework but required redoing all of the character movement/input since the game uses the old input system in unity3d. updates: Added AZERTY movement support Added series of story missions following Arielle and Phia as they are forced to investigate a volcanic planet during the search for Jeo, Speak to Harold (on the bridge) after the main story is complete) The nightclub is now redone, and much bigger so more adult content can be put in there in the future. Added additional adult content to the nightclub that is viewable while in control of Arielle. added enemy pooling in certain missions. maiko arena challenge added that also makes use of enemy pooling. th…

• Update 5 - 16 February 2023

Starship controls text on first flying segment updated to match updated mouse controls the game now auto saves when you enter the City, Apartment, or Bridge, and after certain dialogues in the City. Further optimized the end of the Capital Ship Mission with Maiko. Changed the underlying way Replay Missions work. There should be no threat of losing any saved progress now. I do believe save are working fine, but in case they are not, I've added a Abandoned Terminal to the 5 Years Ago first Alien Mission when starting a New Game. If you are unsure if saves are working for you game, before you quit, take note of the Main Story number and the Q number in ESC -> Status menu. Then if the saves actually don't work when reloading the game, just start a New Game. (Keep in mind that if the Continue Game button is clickable your saves very likely loaded ok) But when starting a New Game you can move…

• Update 4 - 15 February 2023

snow base mission now ends after finishing the dialogue. Hit sound effects are now effected by SoundVolume The car in the City and certain missions are now affected by SoundVolume Ambient noise in the Race Garage is now effected by SoundVolume Collisions added to all npcs in the city Continue Game now tries to place you on the last checkpoint mission instead of loading you into the Apartment then needing to find the Assistant Sentinel in the City. But if you still load into the apartment, it's likely because you supposed to. Just go to the City to continue your progress. Maiko's Torso area now correctly shines. Starfighter controls now use Mouse for directional movement. Movement is reduced while boosting. W , Space = Boost S = Brake A,D = Roll Starfighter ship base speed and boost speed increased Mouse Sensitivity functionality was added via a slider in ESC -> Settings -> Options Runni…

• Update 3 - 13 February 2023

Character movement no longer is affected by directional arrows. Fixed a bug in the bridge causing travelling to different areas to not work. Fixed dialogue issues with Maiko in the Bridge. City ambient sounds like the robots and the truck are now affected the SoundVolume Audio Setting (and SoundVolume is controlled by master volume). Audio Settings have been added to the title screen menu Talk to Bri in the bridge to unlock other outfits for her, along with activities for Ari's apartment, and nightclub dance. Bri's other outfits will only appear when purchased. (Nighty, Lingerie, etc) performance improvements: Removed removed music selection on all missions to help reduce loading screen time. Removed music from hub areas like the Bridge and City that never get played anyway. Made some textures less or not reflective. Removed unnecessary lighting on "Palm Street" (Mission 4,5 and one oth…

• Update 2 - 12 February 2023

Different amount of Skin Shininess is now selectable via ESC -> Settings -> Options "Invert Y During Flight" has need changed to "Invert Y" and now effects the 3rd person shooter input Y axis also. This can also be found in ESC -> Settings -> Options Removed the ability to turn off Arielle's motorcycle engine in Street Race performance improvements: slight overall improvement by removing certain lights attached to Arielle's default outfits in mission 2 and onward (where you save Bri), I've reduced number of enemies and boosted health of remaining enemies and removed some lights more City Background Objects removed when Display Extra Details is off reduced fire rate of some enemies and increased the their damage to the their dps is about the same but with less calculations and particles. (Some enemies shot 50 bullets each at 15 times per second for example.)

(I seemed to have missed Maiko's boob texture) Removed Mission 2 flying segment where you need to shoot down the moving ship. I am working on a joy2key controller config

• ARIA Genesis now LIVE! - 10 February 2023

ARIA Genesis is finally live on steam! A game that I started as a passion project back in 2017. It looked nothing like it does today. Keep in mind the game is a single dev with all out of pocket budget. it's not perfect. But it should be enjoyable. Please check out the pinned message in the community section for any issues. Myself and some friends will be there trying to answer any questions today. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1687250/discussions/
