- Saviour of the Wastelands is now live! - 11 April 2025
It's finally here! I've been working on this game on and off in my spare time for far longer than I care to think about! It started out as a minigame idea for my other project, but quickly ballooned into something way beyond it's original scope. Normally, going way beyond the scope of your idea is a terrible thing to do, as you can easily lose yourself in ideas that'll never come to completion. But, I really enjoyed the story that came out of this, and wanted to make it into something proper. So, here we are! Saviour of the Wastelands! I'm so glad it's finally available for people to play! I had so much fun making this, coming up with the storylines, adding little easter eggs and references to my other project and how the two tie together! I just hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!

- Lunar's Chosen - Episode 2 now live! - 29 March 2024
It's here! The first release of V0.1 for Episode 2! As I've mentioned before, this isn't going to be a hugely story content heavy release (although there are 16 new story scenes), as a lot was changed between episode 1 and 2, which required me to make a lot of other content, such as new rooms, new minor scenes for those rooms, new systems etc. It was a lot of work. That said, I'll drop a changelog below, as there is still a tonne of content to explore and find (some of it hidden). Of course, secret images are still a thing, but now there's going to be hidden scenes too. - V1.0 is now live! - 22 March 2024
It's done, Episode 1 is officially "complete". I say complete in quotes, because knowing me, I've missed something and there will definitely bugs that need fixing. If you've played V0.26, then you've played all the content there is in Episode 1. V1.0 is simply a polish on existing content, marking the end of development of Episode 1. I did update some older renders, as well as updating a few animations, so if you're interested in playing again, it'll at least look much better! V0.26 Release! Well, this arrived far faster than I expect, the ending of Episode 1! This is a huge milestone for both the game and myself. When I first started creating Lunar's Chosen, I never thought it'd reach the size it did, both in terms of the amount of content and popularity. If you're wondering by the way, I checked the total amount of dialogue for Episode 1 while looking into translating the game, there's over 484k words of dialogue! That's just dialogue, not code or anything else, just purely the bits you read in the in game text box. That's an insane amount of words! Hi there! As some of you have noticed, Lunar's Chosen recently changed name to Lunar's Chosen Episode 1. I know some people hate when games go episodic, but there are good reasons for me doing so and I want to take some time to explain to you the reasoning behind it. This is going to be a long wall of text, so strap in! First of all, the code is a mess. I started this game originally as a learning project. It was never meant to be something that was out and about in public as a real game. As such, it's extremely poorly coded and that poor code prevents me from doing a lot of cool things I want to do, which I'll get to later. Could I recode it and tidy everything up? It's here! V0.25 is now available for everyone. This build contains new story updates for all main characters, except Serena, as well as a whole host of other content. I finally got round to adding all main characters sexy scenes as replays, so you no longer have to go back to old saves to see scenes again. I hope to add all side characters in a future update. Hi all! I'm still working hard on Lunar's on the next update, but in my free time (what little I have) I've also been working on another project called Saviour of the Wasteland. It's another adult interactive VN, but with settlement building elements set in an apocalyptic world where monsters roam the night. The goal of the game is to build up your settlement to start creating somewhere safe for humanity to rebuild, while interacting with multiple characters and working through three main characters unique storylines. V0.24 is now available! Katie is back after a couple of updates of no new content, while Meg has taken a break from getting content this update. Don't worry, she'll be back next update! For everyone else, there's new story scenes, as well as new animations, new secret images, new photoshoots and one of the most highly requested features has made it to the game: The ability to go to sleep with Amber at night! - V0.23 Release - The Achievement Update! - 17 March 2023
V0.23 is here for everyone! This is a bit of a different update from usual as for the first time since the game was created, I'm encouraging people to start a clean save! Why am I encouraging this? Because of achievements! A lot of achievements are granted as you progress through the game, so continuing an old save means you will be unable to get these achievements. That said, if you're not interested in achievements, old saves should work fine, but save files have moved! If you want to continue an old save, you'll have to go to the old save location C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\LunarsChosen-1549893754 and move them to the new one which should be C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\PTGames\Lunars Chosen. This is just a quick announcement to let you guys know I've enabled Steam Cloud saves. This should allow you to carry your saves across devices. Please note, I've tested Windows, but have been unable to test MAC or Linux, so please let me know if there are issues with those.

It's finally here, just in time for Christmas. Honestly with the postal strikes happening, I wondered if it was going to be delivered on time, but I'm glad it made it! V0.22 is now live for you all to play! It contains a whole bunch of new content, ranging from new story to a bunch of new sexy outfits for Emily to wear. There's also new characters to meet and have fun with, a bunch of new repeatable scenes, a new photoshoot and before I forget, two Halloween scenes. - Price change complete and new Donation DLC - 4 October 2022
As you may or may not have seen in the last announcement, Lunar's Chosen is no longer free. Unfortunately if you missed it while it was free, you will now need to buy the game if you wish to play. For now the price is not planned to change, but may be review in future or on full release of the game. For those of you who got the game for free, you will still be able to play as normal. Many of you asked for a way to support the game beyond the wallpaper DLC. As such, there is now a donation DLC available for purchase on the game's store page. Please note that this DLC provides ZERO content for the game, it is purely a way for those people who wish to support the game to do so.
- A price change - 19 September 2022
This is just a quick announcement to say that with the release of V0.21, I'm now happy with the amount of content within the game to warrant putting a price on it. As such, after the 30th of September, 2022, the game will no longer be free. So, if you were on the fence about trying the game, this is your warning to grab it now while it's free! Everyone who owns it, (even if you've never played it as long as it's in your library), will keep the game after the price change. So if you get it now, it's yours to keep! This also applies to those of you that already own it, don't worry, it won't cost you anything to keep playing and receive future updates. - V0.21 Release! - 16 September 2022
V0.21 is now here! This update contains a whole bunch of new early game scenes with whole new characters (don't worry, you don't need a new save to see them) as well as new story content for all the main characters. There's also new repeatable events, even animated ones! One of the most common complaints I get is about the lack of things to do in the early game, so I put it to a poll on Patreon and they decided that this update should focus on adding in some early game events. So now there are six new characters to meet and interact with. They won't have any major story like the main characters, but give you something to do in the early game between main story events. It's finally here, V0.20 is now ready for public release. This update focuses on Meg as she won the poll, so we get to see more of her story around her mothers. There's a few new repeatable scenes this update, with more ways to pass the time too. Of course, as always there's new story for every character, although Serena only got one scene of her own as she features heavily in Meg's story.
