Most of my work in the past month has involved making the game handle the presence of two or more players. Previously, every script in the game only cared about one solitary player. Now it has to keep its story straight for everyone who wants to join and play together.I've been going through this game piece by piece, making sure items, vehicles, NPCs, and other parts of the world agree with themselves and stay synchronized in multiplayer. At this point I've completed a large amount of core functionality- character models and animations, driving, riding shotgun, items, adding/removing engine parts, making sure vehicles maintain consistency in their fuel, part durability, as well as synchronization of doors, switches, lights, valves, etc.I have more to do, like adding more character models so everyone doesn't look the same, reworking the save system to accommodate for multiple players who…

-Updated Unity version to address CVE-2025-59489 issue. -Changed: Highlighting a bolt shows the rest of the bolts for that part. -Jiggs can now find and/or replace off road jacks. -Jiggs can now complete his final mission if you still managed to install the generator without being able to pick it up. -Fixed an issue where the v8 fan could spin without all necessary components to power it. -Fixed an issue where the Eagle could have an incorrect fuel reading.

-Added: Drunk driving controls for all vehicles. These are subtle changes which scale with drunkenness, have moments of clarity, but are unpredictable. -Added: A way to improve your strength to carry heavy objects faster, as well as run slightly faster. -Changed: Logs maintain their current orientation when picked up, making them easier to handle and remove from the truck bed. -Changed: Wheels maintain their current orientation for similar reasons. -Changed: Added a tool tip to the first mission to explain inventory controls. -Fixed an old bug where you could use the moonshine buckets to jump extremely far. -Fixed an issue where you could save the game while leaned out of the vehicle.

This update adds a sheriff to the game. He shows up after a few of Jake's missions are complete. Watch your back, because breaking the law can get expensive. It can be found in the junkyard, but it's expensive and will come with a few random broken parts. Jimmy Junks won't be able to help you fix it, so you'll have to fix it yourself. But the good news is it should be about as powerful as the stock V8. Replacement parts can be found at New Age. The car's original generic engine now wears out over time, but you can buy complete generic engines at the junkyard for around $250 if you would rather use those in your car. This update should work fine with your old saves, though you might need to recalibrate your mouse sensitivity settings this time. It can be filled with various fruit items you can harvest from around the map. Infused moonshine gives a better payout. You can also save your game near the moonshine distillery. -A more profitable way to sell moonshine and tobacco can be unlocked by completing Jake's original quest line, and then selling him a batch of high quality moonshine to initiate a new mission with him and another NPC. -You might notice the Texas Hold'em NPCs are gone. Completing Jake's quest line will bring them back, along with some other things(can be overridden with debug menu). -Important bug fixes to mission waypoints, items falling out of inventory on load, and several other issues you've reported to me. The early game was more brutal than necessary. It can be tough saving your money for an upgrade, only to blow all four tires in one day and bankrupt yourself. This update tries to balances out a lot of early-game hangups, fixes some annoyances, and improves some of the visuals.
