  • ExeKiller x 505 Games - 23 June 2026

Howdy, Partners! It's been a while since our last Dev Diary, but today we've got some big news to share. We're excited to announce that we've partnered with 505 Games, who will be publishing ExeKiller on PC via Steam. The road to release isn't always straightforward. As some of you may remember, ExeKiller was originally announced with a different publishing partner. After they decided to step away from game publishing, we took the time to find the right home for ExeKiller. Today, we're excited to continue that journey together with 505 Games. This is a huge milestone for our team at Paradark Studio. Over the last few years we've been building the world of ExeKiller piece by piece, and finding the right publishing partner was one of the most important decisions we've had to make. What does this mean for ExeKiller? Simply put: more support, more resources, and more opportunities to bring ou…

  • ExeKiller | FAQ - 28 January 2026

Howdy, Partners! After the overview trailer drop, we were hit with a huge wave of messages, and we love the enthusiasm. The response to ExeKiller has been incredibly positive and honestly exceeded our wildest expectations, so first of all: thank you. With all that hype came plenty of questions, which is why we’ve put together this FAQ to answer the most common ones we’ve been getting. Let’s not waste time and jump right in! Q: Comparisons to Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout, and Red Dead Redemption 2A: ExeKiller draws inspiration from cyberpunk, western, and post-apocalyptic genres. That said, it’s important to be clear: Exekiller is a game with smaller scale, different focus and different goals. If you’re expecting another Cyberpunk, Fallout, or Red Dead Redemption 2, ExeKiller is not trying to be that. This is not a massive open-world AAA RPG.We are a small studio. While we’d love to have the sco…

  • Dev Diary #12 | Computers, energy, and more... - 9 July 2025

Howdy, Partners!Hope you’re all doing well, because we’ve got another round of updates fresh off the workbench. Old-school computers and the power that keeps things running - there’s plenty to share. Let’s not waste time and jump right in!Telstar 3000First up, let’s take a closer look at the computer. It might look unassuming, but don’t let that fool you - this is one of the most advanced systems humming in the world of ExeKiller. It features realistic mouse input simulation, so you’ll actually feel like you’re working with real hardware. You can control all energy-based systems right from the interface, mount external drives, encrypt or decrypt files, and even download the entire computer state onto a portable storage device. Later, you can plug it into another terminal! Thanks to a modular design, it’s easy to keep adding new programs and functions. Whether you’re hacking into locked d…

  • Dev Diary #11 | Sneak peak inside the Tower - 28 April 2025

Howdy, Partners! Today we're stepping inside the Tower - starting in the parking lot, moving into the neon glow of Cyberance, and checking out our lockpick. Oh, and don’t forget about the cold, calculating presence of Police Bots. Buckle up! Lockpick In the wasteland, nothing opens by asking nicely - especially not locked doors. That’s where your lockpick comes in. It’s a tool built for the job, complete with a flashy interface that tells you exactly what you're up against. The more lights you see, the tougher the lock - and the more pins you’ll need to hit just right. The mechanism’s simple - align the tumblers, feel the feedback, and make it click. Use it right, and locked doors become new paths. Secret rooms. Shortcuts. Stashes no one’s touched in years. In a place like this, knowing how to crack a lock isn’t a bonus - it’s survival. But hey, if you’re not the patient type, there’s a…

  • Dev Diary #10 | King Hotel, Sparky, Animations, and more… - 20 February 2025

Howdy, Partners! Hope you’re all doing well and are ready for another update from the world of ExeKiller. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and today we’ve got a few exciting things to share with you. Let’s dive right in! Hotel First up, we’ve got a glimpse of the King Hotel! Now, don’t expect fancy suites or lavish decor - this isn’t that kind of place. Well, at least not anymore… Once a symbol of luxury in Brooklyn, where the elite sipped from crystal glasses beneath golden chandeliers, striking deals behind closed doors. And now? The wind howls through its hollow halls, and the only ones left are outlaws, fugitives, and those who live by their own rules (it was recently claimed by the Blind Justice gang)! And hey, if you’re in the area, don’t ask about those available rooms... Sparky Next, let’s talk about Sparky - the all-purpose welder turned survival essential. Built by T…

We could talk your ear off about all the little tweaks and details, but let's cut to the chase: you gotta see it to believe it. We're all ears for your thoughts on this! Your fe…

  • Dev Diary #6 | Subway Showcase, vending machine, Winston, and more… - 19 December 2023

Howdy, Partners! As 2024 is just around the corner, we're excited to share what we've been working on over the past few weeks. It's been quite a journey, and we can't wait to show you the latest developments in ExeKiller! Come with us! Epic Games Before we move on to the news about our game, we would like to clarify a misunderstanding that has been caused by our recent announcement regarding the Epic Mega Grant. Even though we did receive the Grant, it does not mean that ExeKiller will be available exclusively on Epic Games Store and we would like to make that very clear. We want as many people as possible to enjoy our upcoming game, so we have no plans of making it exclusive (or temporarily exclusive) to any platform. The support from Epic Games changes absolutely nothing, except that we now have additional resources to further refine ExeKiller, which will benefit everyone! Gas Mask Le…

Let us show you… Mocap Session We've noticed your feedback regarding animations in the game and you can rest assured, we are not turning a blind eye to your comments - we're taking action! • Dev Diary #4 | Fashion, animations and more… - 19 September 2023

Howdy, partners! Long time no hear, huh? It's high time to change that! As a token of our appreciation for sticking with us and continuously fueling our progress on Exekiller, we want to keep you in the loop about our progress at least once a month! So, even though this is the fourth Dev Diary, consider it a sort of a fresh start! The first of many that will gradually bring us closer to the big day in 2025, when our game will finally debut. Let's kick off right from the beginning! Here's what has been happening with us lately! Fashion always matters! First of all, we are constantly working on fashion. In the past few weeks we've been heavily focused on clothing items and essentials within the post-apocalyptic world. Take a look at the leather coat that some of the outlaws will wear. It seems to resonate perfectly with their demeanor and brings a unique aura to their look. It's likely th…

  • ExeKiller | Dev diary 03 - 13 June 2023

Hey everyone! We have incredible news to share with you! We are absolutely thrilled because we have just signed an agreement with an amazing publisher, Null Games. This is exactly the moment we never even dreamed of, not even in our wildest dreams. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our publisher for the immense trust and support we have already received. At the same time, we want to inform you that due to the financial support we have received, we will have to postpone the release date of the "ExeKiller" to 2025. It's a tough decision, but we are doing it all to deliver a better game to you. Your satisfaction is our top priority, which is why we want to dedicate more time to perfect every detail. We understand that you may be concerned about this delay, but we kindly ask for your understanding. Our goal is to create a game that exceeds your wildest expectations. We are…

  • ExeKiller | Dev diary 02 - 1 February 2023

Howdy, partners! Long time no see, right? Well, for us it’s been one hell of a ride. Since we last spoke, we've begun the transition to Unreal Engine 5. It's not a walk in the park, but it's a necessary step so that you can immerse yourself in the world of Exekiller the way it was always meant to be - graphically rich, smoothly running and, above all, bug-free. UE5 will help us do this faster and better, especially with new features such as nanite, lumen and so on. We left you dry for a few months, but you were never forgotten. We have a treat for you - the latest gameplay from Exekiller's scorched earth homeland, We hope you will continue to give us that credit of trust, and we promise, it will be repaid with new updates or exctiting news. • Exekiller looks like a rad western cyberpunk - 19 August 2021

We're having a bit of a renaissance of cyberpunk games, it seems. Exekiller is the latest, a cross between the 80s tech of classic cyberpunk and westerner sensibilities. Exekiller is an action adventure set in 1998 New York, only this NY is taken over by deserts. The events take place 30 years after the Great Fire Disaster (timely!), an environmental crisis that killed 70% of the Earth's population. Such desperate times, of course, give rise to all-powerful coporations, which control this world after governments fell. You play as the titular Exekiller, a bounty hunter who goes after outlaws to collect their S.O.U.L.S. - a chip that controls them and knows everything about them. Read more

Short description

ExeKiller is a retro futuristic western game with a storyline set in a post-apocalyptic alternate timeline. It is a first-person, action-adventure shooter with a character progression system and varied story choices.

About this game

TAKE THE CONTRACT. FIND THE FUGITIVE. EXTRACT THE S.O.U.L. It's 1998, twenty years after the Great Fire Disaster. Helion Corporation offers safety inside its Tower – at the price of living by its rules. Beyond it lies the Wasteland: free from corporations, at the cost of extreme heat, radiation, raiders, and factions that trade protection for loyalty. You are Denzel Fenix, an ExeKiller – a licensed bounty hunter working for Helion. Take the contract, track down the fugitive, extract their S.O.U.L. biochip. It rarely stays simple. Every target has a story, every witness has a reason to lie, and every contract ends in a decision the briefing never prepared you for. ExeKiller is a single-player, 20+ hour first-person action-adventure with immersive-sim elements, set in a semi-open retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic world. Built in Unreal Engine 5. EVERY CONTRACT, YOUR WAY Your target is rarely where the contract says. Read the scene, follow leads, question witnesses, and break into systems that were never meant for you. Then choose how it ends: sneak past security, talk your way through, sabotage it, or walk in the front door with a loaded revolver. Stealth, dialogue, hacking, cybernetic abilities, and firepower are tools, not predetermined paths – mix them however you want. A WORLD THAT DOESN’T WAIT FOR A CUTSCENE Conversations happen in real time. Keep walking, keep driving, keep aiming – or leave the room. No cutscenes, no quick-time events, no loading screens, a fully diegetic interface: you never stop playing Denzel in real time. And what you say can open doors that weapons cannot, or close them permanently. CYBERPUNK IN THE DUST Revolvers and neural implants. Hovercars and roadside settlements. An alternate 1998 that feels like the future imagined from the 1970s. Ride your hovercar, the Appaloosa, across semi-open regions that expand with the story – Manhattan's irradiated ruins, Brooklyn's scavenger districts, sand-buried Long Island, the fog-choked edge of Staten Island. Heat, radiation, storms, and mutated wildlife change how you travel, investigate, and fight. PROGRESS THROUGH STEEL, NOT XP No character levels, no XP grind. Denzel changes throu…

Steam marketplace comparison data

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Sep 24, 2026 to Sep 24, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $0.00
  • Highest observed: $0.00

ExeKiller's USD price history spans from Sep 24, 2026 to Sep 24, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $0.00, the highest is $0.00, and the first visible tracked price is $0.00. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 0
  • Discounted days: 0 days
  • Deepest markdown: No discount tracked
  • Latest sale window: No sale window tracked

ExeKiller's tracked USD rows do not contain a discount window. This means no available snapshot in the stated coverage has usable discount metadata; it does not prove that the game was never discounted. Missing snapshots or archived rows without complete metadata can hide a sale, so SteamPulse does not infer pricing strategy from this absence.

If a later snapshot includes discount metadata, it will appear here with its recorded depth, price, date, and sale name when available. Until then, this section should be read only as a description of the available rows, not as evidence about the publisher's promotion policy.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00, from Sep 24, 2026 through Sep 24, 2026. Among rows without discount metadata, the longest unchanged run lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $0.00. The latest run records $0.00 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking as the same recorded undiscounted price. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $0.00
  • Current list price: $0.00
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records ExeKiller at $0.00 in USD, with no active discount metadata. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
