• Scare up some fun with Solitaire Expeditions! - 28 October 2023

  For a limited time, you can trick or treat on your Expedition! From October 28 to November 6, ghosts will be haunting various locations in Solitaire Expeditions. In particular, they seem to really like taking up residence in Expedition mode: However, the general population is not enjoying their presence and would really like it if you could vanquish them by winning games of solitaire in the haunted states. So that's the trick, where's the treat? When you successfully clear states of their spiritual occupation, you will receive Halloween themed card backs, backgrounds, and decks that will be yours to keep forever (or at least until you delete your profile). After all, who wouldn't want their own Ghostmobile?

  Variant #176: Tournament This variant is fairly unique - no building on the Tableau, and half of the foundations are built up from Ace to King and half are built down from King to Ace. New setting Today's build adds a new setting: "Automatically check for loss". By default, this is enabled and continues the existing behavior in the game where it will inform the user when they have lost because there are no more valid moves. If disabled, the game will only tell you that you have lost if you request a hint and there are no moves available. • Personalize your Solitaire Expeditions experience with custom backgrounds - 21 May 2023

  Add your own custom backgrounds to Solitaire Expeditions! Today's release adds a new customization feature where you can use any image for a background in the game. Head to the 'Backgrounds' tab on the Settings dialog and click the new 'Add custom background' button: You will then be prompted to browse to a PNG or JPEG file on your system. Once you pick an image, choose how you want the image scaled to fit the screen: Once you click 'Add', you will have a new custom background! Add as many as you'd like. These backgrounds are attached to your user profile and have been added to the game's Steam cloud support so you can access them on all of your devices.
