- Version 2.1.0.0 The EMBIGGENING - 28 November 2025
We've upgraded the game from 720p to 1440p. We originally built 720 for Newgrounds and for file size but now we're more focussed on Steam (our game is too big for Newgrounds now) we no longer have that limitation. 720p by todays standards is small, and really doesn't do Aila's art justice when made full screen on the most common screen resolutions. We knew that if we wanted the game to look its best, we would need to increase the resolution, and we couldn't do that for N3 without doing it for N1 and N2 as well, because they all use the same project file. While we had some doubts on if looks would improve with a larger size, we will tell you that really, really it has. Aila's artwork has sharp improvements and lets you see the smallest details she put in. With this, nearly every animation in the game had to be converted as well, as well as a few new animations put in. There aren't any in…

- Steam Trading Cards are now LIVE (I hope) - 7 August 2024
I'm clicking the button! I don't know how long it takes them to go into effect, but Steam's documentation makes it sound like it should be instant. It's been a real blast doing all of this. Finding out we're eligible to do this made us really proud, and truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the engagement, reviews, downloads, and everything else that let us do this! Just for a reminder from our last post, here's what we've got! 5 Steam trading cards! Collect them all and turn them in on Steam for a nice badge! Or just sell the cards! 6 profile badges! There are five levels of badges, each with a different badge. Collect the foil badge to become an Honorary Nimrod, yippie! 9 chat emoticons! Do people use these? - Night Two Steam Trading Cards on Wednesday!! (FINALLY) - 4 August 2024
It's taken way longer than it should have to get this going. We've had the cards and the content for a while, but getting through Steam's approval process took a while! We had to make a bunch of changes because the art was simply too spicy. But it looks like we're finally going to be good to launch this time, and Night Two's community items will arrive on Wednesday! So what are we gonna have? 5 Steam trading cards! Collect them all and turn them in on Steam for a nice badge! Or just sell the cards! 6 profile badges! There are five levels of badges, each with a different badge. Collect the foil badge to become an Honorary Nimrod, yippie! 9 chat emoticons! Do people use these? Well, you'll have 'em! 12 profile backgrounds! These were a huge pain in the ass to get approved! Do what you want with them! Collect them, set them as your background, print them out, and mail them to all your frie…

- Patch notes: v2.0.0.2 - 29 April 2024
Here's patch notes for the update that just got pushed! 2.0.0.2 Fixed achievement "Last Supper" to trigger. Die to Anna by 69ing her in the Arcade to get it. (Sorry about that D:) Whack-a-mole achievement taken out until we actually have it in game. The "bad knife" ending has been added, where you used a bad keyword and got the knife. No more cleaning dishes, no more being locked out of an achievement and needing to replay the whole game to get it. A new N1 keyword funny put in. Try Mommy, Momma, Mother, Mom 😉 Lots of spelling mistakes A few facts not firing correctly on all versions fixed Fixed Addy being able to break a thousand crystal balls because the second version of the save didn't kick in. (very clumsy) Also, while I have you. I humbly ask that if you enjoyed our game, to please consider posting a review. While the game is new, they help us out way more than you realize! ❤ Tha…
- Love Sucks: Night Two RELEASING - 26 April 2024
Love Sucks: Night Two is now available to play, released on Steam right here!!! It will sell for $10, and also has an Art Book as optional DLC for people who want to support us a little extra, and have a little insight into the development process! It installs as a .pdf to the base game folder. After several years of hard work from all of us, more bumps on the road, and hurdles than we are to count, I'm so happy and proud to announce that the game is now ready and available for people to buy and play. I'm equal parts excited and nervous. At last people get to see what we've made and enjoy the second part in our game. I'm also nervous, because now is when we find out if all the effort has been worth it. Will people still like it when it's not free? Will anyone even buy it? Is it as good as I think it is? Questions we're all going to find out the answers to, and to say I'm nervous is an u…
- Love Sucks: Night Two Release Date - 14 April 2024
Love Sucks: Night Two finally has a release date: April 26th, at 4 PM PST, and will sell for $10! If EA drops a bunch of shit that day we're gonna make it like Monday or something though :| It's been a long time coming. Much longer than we anticipated, but after all our years of work and effort, we can finally consider N2 to be ready for people to buy and play! We've passed compliance, we've got the date, and now we start the countdown to launch. In the meantime, we're going to keep working on it. We've got two weeks to polish it up as shiny as possible! We'll make sure it's the best damn booty titty game you've ever played, and I'm both impossibly nervous and unbelievably excited to see everyone finally get to play the game. Sorry for such a long wait, too. Turns out, game development is very hard. Everything takes a long time, and real life got in the way more often than it didn't, bu…
- Night Two is ready! (and N1 is updated) - 27 March 2024
Good evening everyone! I forgot to put this on the N2 news and not just the N1 news! It's been quiet on the steam front for a while, but rest assured we've been working on the game quite publicly. We're mostly active on Twitter and Discord, but I apologise for being quiet over here. But let me get right to the point! In preparation for Night Two's release, we're pushing a small update to Night One with some things we've been going back to sort out during N2's development. It's not a lot, only some small tweaks. Speaking of N2's development... it's ready! Night Two is now in what I consider to be a completed state. We've just gotta talk to the publisher and find out when they want to release it. Plus, steam requires a build to be uploaded to them for compliance, and they have to approve it on their end. That could take a few days or longer, depending on them. The very moment I get a rele…
