Bug fixes Offline DRM would save in roaming (%APPDATA%) directory. This is not correct - that directory is to be shared between computers. It is now instead saved in local directory (%LOCALAPPDATA%). NOTE! This means your offline licenses will need to be recreated once as the directory has moved. Logs for all programs is also saved in the local app data from now on. (%LOCALAPPDATA%\vovoid) Fixed a real nasty (but likely also rare) race condition related to font rendering. The symptom was that characters in the Launcher would be garbled and the launcher would randomly crash. Audio Server Default Network Port Changed Audio server manager changed UDP communications ports because the default ports clashed with Windows reserved port ranges when running Hyper-V (wsl). NOTE! You might have to change the port when connecting to the audio server manager! This applies mostly for when you use the player and audio server on separate computers. About this release While this release doesn't have any new big features or that many GUI improvements, it is actually a quite large release under the hood. The graphics engine has seen a lot of work also. New Features Generic Partially using new font rendering (MSDF). This should look better and prevent GPU drivers from meddling with anti aliasing for text to render correctly. This has been an issue on mainly AMD cards which have a worse anti aliasing algorithm (or so it seems). As this has been proven over time, it could be rolled out to more places. About this release In the works for 3 years, the new graphics engine will enable a lot of new cool opportunities, it's currently in beta at this point as it's likely there are some more small bugs in it. Improvements On dual GPU gaming laptops with NVidia or AMD GPUs where an Intel HD Graphics GPU is also present, all programs should now start on the discrete GPU by default even if the control panel is set to use the Intel HD Graphics by default. This could solves issues for laptop users and hopefully prevent some crashes which inevitably happen when starting on Intel HD Graphics.
