• Added an autofire option in the options menu. - 30 September 2023

  Steam deck users have requested an autofire option, so here you go!

• A Small update... - 17 August 2023

  Leaderboards are now silently fetched as a background task and the old 'Connecting' screen that used to appear when the game was launched has been removed. A bug was reported that the game was getting stuck on the connecting screen (possibly due to a slow internet connection?), this can no longer happen. As always, thanks to the players for spotting this.

• MAC Build updated (synced with PC Build) - 22 March 2023

  The MAC version has been updated to be in sync with the PC Build.

• Tournament Mode UNLOCKED! - 21 March 2023

  Tournament mode is now unlocked and available to play! This game mode starts at very high difficulty and the player cannot earn extra lives... It also has its own online Leaderboard and a shiny new green Ship Skin. I've also added 3 new launch options for users that have requested a windowed mode: -window1 will launch the game in a 1024x768 windowed mode... -window2 will launch the game in a 1280x960 windowed mode... -window3 will launch the game in a 1280x720 windowed mode...

• Game Update - Added Spinner controls option - 18 March 2023

  I had an unusual request from a user to add support for arcade 'spinner' controls. I have added support for these controls (disabled by default) to enable it, just add the following line to your config.txt file: spinner="true"

• Xbox One Controller - DPAD issue fixed. - 16 March 2023

  Fixed a minor issue when using the DPAD on a Xbox Controller. Thankyou for letting us know about it!

  Grab your joysticks!! A Blast from the past is now LIVE on steam!!! The first 500 purchases will receive an exclusive player ship skin in the next update! Enjoy the game! We can't wait to see some hi-scores on the leaderboards!!
