- I made a short Everlife video... - 11 August 2026
Hello everyone!I just wanted to announce I made a short video about Everlife. It's a YouTube short where I go through all three levels! Also, today is Everlife: Chapter 2's three-year anniversary! (Language warning, I use memes that contain swears 😅)The Video
- Patch Notes: 1.2.203 - 25 July 2025
Hello Everyone! I found a couple of bugs around some of the achievements. As such, here are the fixes... -Fixed bug where "Blind Love" would always be awarded on easy mode -Mansion Master, Romantic Expert, Arcade King, and Spiritual Profiler will now automatically be achieved on boot if the condition has been met within the game That's all! thanks for reading!
- Patch Notes: 1.2.202 - 23 July 2025
Hello Everyone! I've seen a bit of increased attention after the exit of early access, so thank you to everyone who has played the game! However, from what I have seen, there appeared to be a bug with an achievement, and it seemed Tsundere Terror was still a bit harder than Game Grievance. So, here are the changes... -Fixed bug where "Game Breaker" would be awarded even if the player disarmed a glitch gate -Increased Glitchese Minimum speed from 900 to 1000 (850 to 900 in easy mode) -Increased Maximum Glitchese speed from 6000 to 6250Make sure you are on Version 1.2.202, because I forgot to set a variable properly on 1.2.20, so 1.2.20 would have a janky bug. That's all, thanks for reading!
- Chapter 2 is now free-to-play + The future of Everlife - 16 July 2025
Hello Everyone,I wanted to give an update on the status of Everlife, what other games I am currently working on, and what you can expect from this game in the future. I've left you all in the dark for a while, and I wish to provide clarification for what is going on.What will happen with Everlife immediately?Chapter 2 is now free to play. As of 1.2.19, the chapter 2 content is included with the base game. The DLC (The actual separate purchase) will eventually be delisted The base game's store page has been updated with Chapter 2 contentEverlife will no longer be in "early access" (See below for details)For the people who bought Chapter 2, I will seek to find a way for you to refund the DLC, similar to what happened with FNAF World. If you are concerned with how a refund would impact me, don't. I have never received a payment for Chapter 2, so please do not hesitate to get your money back…
- Patch Notes: 1.2.183 - 5 July 2025
Hello everyone! A while ago, I changed the Glitchese to increase the difficulty of Game Grievance. However, I realize I may have crossed the line between "challenging" and "unfair". As such, I have made the following changes: -Min Speed of Glitchese reduced from 1250 to 925 (1000 to 850 in easy mode) -Max Speed of Glitchese increased from 5000 to 6000 Essentially, the Glitchese are a bit more similar to how they were at launch. The new version is a sort of compromise between the old and the new. Thank you for reading! Hopefully this change makes the Glitchese feel a bit more fair! :)
- Patch Notes: 1.2.182 - 19 March 2025
I have increased the difficulty of Game Grievance in easy mode slightly. The difficulty should be in ascending order in easy mode as well now.
- Patch Notes: 1.2.181 - 16 November 2024
I discovered a small glitch where shooting the portraits before exiting Murky Mansion would allow you to possibly pause the game. This has been fixed.
- Patch Notes: 1.2.18 - 13 November 2024
Hello Everyone! First update in almost a year! -Fixed the material on the grass in Enchanted RPG -Updated the creator logo -The lighting is a little bit different, due to what I had to deal with. However, it is mostly the same. I originally wanted to update the game engine to UE5 when I discovered the issue with the grass, but I ran into a game-breaking engine bug that stopped that idea in it's tracks :(. I had to rely on a backup of the game (from 1.2.16) to get back to where 1.2.172 left off. I am fairly certain I have implemented all the future changes well, and I have tested every level and cutscene pretty rigorously. However, if there are any bugs left, please email me at [email protected]. In additional news, Everlife has been set aside in favor of college and a brand new game. I don't plan on shelving this game forever, but I feel it's best if I move on to a new game, at lea…
- Patch 1.2.172 - 17 February 2024
I fixed a small bug where the skip widget would fade on the first cutscene early
- Patch Notes: 1.2.17 - 5 November 2023
-Fixed a bug where the Glichese wouldn't properly retreat to the corner -The Glitchese will now cast shadows when they are close enough to the player -The light on ghosts will no longer fade out when far enough away -Glitchese minimum speed increased from 500 to 1250 -Glitchese maximum speed reduced from 8000 to 5000 EDIT: I accidently broke the pretty on beat flashes of light from the Glichese :/, make sure you update to version 1.2.171 (it will say in title screen) You might be a bit confused on why I changed the min and max speeds of the Glitchese, so I will explain my reasoning below, as well as plans for balance in the future (yap session incoming). TL:DR at bottom From what little I have observed, many newer players found Game Grievance to be a massive difficulty spike, while more experienced players (mostly myself) found it easier than Tsundere Terror. To balance it properly, I w…
- Patch Notes: Version 1.2.16 - 8 October 2023
I'm back with another quick patch to the game. Here are the changes. -Optimized and combined several meshes, which should slightly improve optimization and fix an issue with flickering objects. -The blackout screen will now always layer over the subtitles EDIT: I had to temporarily revert the update due to some collision issues that arose after combining meshes. They should be fixed now, and I also did a sweep of all 3 levels to make sure everything was good. If there are still issues, please comment or email me at [email protected] Thanks for reading!
- Quick Patch: 1.2.15 - 11 September 2023
I fixed a clipping issue where the player could clip into the ghosts while they were stunned. I also fixed some grammar in the Stephanie newspaper in Murky Mansion. In case you couldn't tell, I am very tired of writing these. I just want the game to be fixed and stay fixed :/ Hopefully this little fix brings it one step closer
- Quick Patch: 1.2.14 - 10 September 2023
If I had a nickel for every time a friend playtesting the game found a bug involving the stunner (that I never found in my hundreds of plays), I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice. Anyway, the bug in question is that the stun effect would play while you're being killed. This was because of a little mistake in the code where the projectile would ALWAYS play the effect when destroyed. Now it shouldn't play if you're dead! :)
- Patch 1.2.13 - 5 September 2023
I discovered some misplaced geometry in Tsundere Terror. I cleared it up. I also made some very minor optimizations to some grass (though as of now don't expect too much performance gain) EDIT: Well this is disappointing, a misplaced pillar directly next to the one I fixed somehow slipped into the new build. I fixed that alongside adjusting a couple other pillars, as I did a sweep to make sure there weren't any left. So, make sure your game is on version 1.2.131! (title screen will show it)
- Patch notes: Version 1.2.12 - 3 September 2023
I discovered a bug with the tutorial in the first realm, it should be fixed now. I also adjusted some collision on the ghosts to try and reduce clipping.
- Patch Notes: Version 1.2.1 (As well as a little info on bug fixing) - 31 August 2023
Hello everyone! I'm currently working on a video where I do a 100% speedrun of Everlife! if you wish to see the video when it releases, be sure to sub to MaseMaster2K's YouTube channel! But unfortunately, while recording, I discovered a few new issues, which this patch is meant to address. There were also some additional patches that fixed bugs during the recording section, but this is meant to take care of the rest of them. With all that said, here are the changes in patch 1.2.1... -The "hint" text now fades at the same time as the rest of the "death screen" interface. -In the disclaimer when launching the game for the first time, the "E to skip" text now fades at the same speed as every other instance in the game. -The collision in Murky Mansion's "dark room" is now identical to the floor of the rest of the level -Fixed a bug where the projectile can get stuck floating after hitting a…
- Patch 1.2.08 - 22 August 2023
I'm just as sick of having to put these patches out as you are, but I discovered a bug with the rejection achievement again. Stephanie was triggering it even if she wasn't teleporting I fixed that, and also potentially fixed an issue with the RPG widget animations
- Patch 1.2.07 - 22 August 2023
I discovered a bug with the "Rejection" achievement. Should be fixed now though.
- Patch Notes: 12.06 - 20 August 2023
I fixed a grammar error that was in one of the subtitles, but I also thought clearing out a bunch of junk would reduce the storage space in the game. It barely did anything :( But at least the grammar error was fixed. EDIT: I fixed another little grammar error in the unlock screen. Sorry for any inconvenience of having to update again :/
- Patch 1.2.051 - 19 August 2023
Apologies for yet another quick patch, but I discovered an error with the fading of a widget. It has been fixed now.
