• Happy Anniversary, Lockes! - 10 February 2025

  Lockes The Thief was released on February 9th, 2023. Though it didn't have any real impact on the gaming industry, it was a very well crafted game made by a solo developer. The first game in fact! 2 years later the game still holds value and still has many wishlists! If you were on the cusp of getting this game, now is the time. For the anniversary the game will be 50% off! for 5 days. You can join Lockes in his stylish thief adventure and save the world he was brought into, one sneak attack at a time. P.S: I get it, the anniversary was on the 9th but the sale is on the 10th. What can I do? I was a little late... And that's that. Stay tuned for more updates~! • April 3rd Update - 3 April 2023

  Hey everyone! Quick update on Lockes The Thief! We got 10 reviews, finally! So I think we should be on the Discovery Queue. I am working on the sequel, which is already feeling loads better, but I am still updating this version as well! For example, I noticed people were having some problems with our auto save feature. SO I updated that! Now you won't get stuck in a death loop! Remember, I'm here if you have any issues! Let me know how I can help! • Another Lil Patch - 7 March 2023

  Hey everyone! I just now patched the game again. Now it knows when you are using a keyboard or XBox controller. Sorry no Playstation or Nintendo controller UIs. Also I fixed an error with the inventory window and the camera moving into certain views when reading signs. Give it a whirl!

• Big Fat Patch - 25 February 2023

  No not a patch on the character Fat, but a Big Fat Patch! So after some toil with a good friend, the Auto Save System has been implemented! No more annoying saving problems! Hopefully that is solved for good! And also a glitch that I won't talk about has been fixed as well! Keep me posted on those reviews and critiques! • Another Patch! - 24 February 2023

  Hey everyone! Here is another patch, and there will probably be another one tomorrow! I fixed quite a few bugs after watching a playthrough. Game Development am I right? • Updates for February 22 - 22 February 2023

  Hey everyone! I made a quick few fixes to the game. There was a bug making my Sneak enemies T-Pose in the water which someone caught recently, so I fixed that. I wanted to do the auto save too but since from the start I had a single manual save system it would have corrupted your files if I was to change it. I also fixed the inventory tool tip, which is basically when you hover over an item to see information on it. I noticed the bug while doing some work on my inventory system. There is one last bug that I hope I fixed. I can't tell you it because only a few people found it, and if I didn't actually fix it you could potentially break the game! Sheesh! I guess I already knew game dev is hard. I think that's all I got for you, folks! Looks like I'm getting mostly positive reviews on my first game ever, and I thank everyone who has supported it! • Almost DONE - 3 February 2023

  Hey everyone! Your new favorite Thief is coming your way! In just 6 more days, Lockes The Thief will be released to the public. The full version is technically at 100% (though we might do some other improvements) and I uploaded it into Steam, ready for purchase for a low cost. The demo got an update, too. For people that had the old demo, you might be bummed out to see that the new demo doesn't have the dungeon in it anymore, as that will now be a part of the full version. There are a few other new levels in the full version as well. You might also notice some other improvements. I mostly did this so people could see what we've been working on. • Graphical Update! - 4 December 2022

  Hey everyone! It's Prescott 'Lockes' Lawani with a news announcement. Lockes The Thief is getting a graphical update! The full game will look slightly different than the demo. Get the demo while you can because I will be shutting it down in a couple of days! The graphics that have been improved is the character and capsule art!
