• Version 1.0.2 - 8 September 2023

  Hello again! This is a small update to address some more feedback that we’ve received. Level 9 should be slightly harder now, one of its mechanics is clearer, and another endgame mechanic was changed. In addition, we’ve fixed some bugs: a freeze when a player character is killed by an Archer, and some minor late-game issues. Enjoy!

• Version 1.0.1 - 5 September 2023

  Hello, everyone! We’ve just published a small update, mainly to address some of the feedback we’ve received regarding the confusing controls. First time players will now be prompted with the control binding screen on launch, starting the game should be easier, and Escape can now be used to pause the game and go back in menus. We’ve also added some missing sound effects to the ending, and a target FPS option. Thank you again for the feedback, and we hope you enjoy the new version!

• Frogman Magmaborn releases in 2 months! - 30 June 2023

  Hello, everyone! It took us way longer than anticipated, but Frogman Magmaborn is finally nearing completion! We have finished level 9 a few months ago, and are currently hard at work on the final boss and ending. While the game is still not complete, we are now confident that we can finish the remaining content in two months. The demo will remain available for download up until the game's release, but will no longer be updated - it is still the same version from about a year ago. People who have downloaded the demo should be able to keep it. The save data from the demo should carry on to the final game, but we still recommend restarting the game once the game releases. In addition, keep in mind that mods created with the demo will not work in the final game. See you in two months!

• Frogman Magmaborn demo update & progress report - 28 July 2022

  Hello, everyone! We've been working on Frogman Magmaborn for the past few months, and decided to slightly rewrite the first part of the game, which includes the demo. We've also added a few new improvements & features - like fade transitions between most screens and new editors to Frog Forge. Today, we've updated the demo to reflect those changes. Save data should remain compatible (although you should probably restart the game anyway, as the plot might not make much sense without the new early-game conversations), but existing Frog Forge mods might not work properly anymore. In general, we don't recommend making complex mods using the demo - Frog Forge is mostly there for you to experiment with at the moment.
