No big patch today — just a signal that we’re active again. After refreshing the store page (Day 1), we’re preparing short clips and minor QoL. Hey! It’s been quiet for a while, but Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows hasn’t disappeared. We’re back with regular updates, and we want to show you what’s next.For a start (Day 1):– we refreshed the Steam page (new media, improved description),– we’re working on short gameplay clips to better show the atmosphere,– we’re gathering your feedback: what would you like to see / improve first?Behind the scenes, we’re also working on something important — optimization. It’s a tough task, since we need to build some of our own tools, but it’s all to make the game run smoother on different setups. No more awkward empty dialogue bubbles – chats are back on track! Map got some love – missing icons filled in, so you won’t get lost. Some enemies got a glow-up – better visibility, better fights. SaveCats heal now comes with flashy new visuals – looking cooler than ever! 😺✨✨✨ Tweaked some levels – smoother flow, better vibes. Flying Child enemy 2.0 – now way more fun (and annoying, in a good way). DarkFly respawns fixed – no more losing them in lava hell. This update brings several refinements and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience: Improved Forcefield UIX—better readability of required actions. Refined Darkflies respawn mechanics—they now return to the last stable platform. Increased Darkflies during the final boss battle for better balance. Clearer keyboard control hints to improve user experience. Replaced the annoying light charge sound with a more pleasant one. Tons of minor fixes and polish to improve overall gameplay. Well, the game still hasn't passed the official verification on SD ( Valve is not able to say how long it will take) The good news is that it is nonetheless playable! One thing: after installation, you may get a message about incompatibility with Steam Deck.
